Magic
So I want to overclock my graphics card which is a MSI n460gtx GeForce, but I don't really what to set it to. I've watched some videos on how to overclock, but most of the ones I found are for high end GPUs. Also, if any of you could link me a good benchmark testing program(s) that would be good too. youthedog
Use msi afterburner, testing is basically if you see artifacts, lower the clocks.

Yeah that is the program I use but I don't know what exactly I should set it to. Just test different #s and test?
Short
Yeah that is the program I use but I don't know what exactly I should set it to. Just test different #s and test? What you want to do is raise by 10-20 mhz, then run kombustor the program that comes with msi afterburner, then check for artifacts and watch temps. Ok. Should I change my fan speeds too?
Short
Ok. Should I change my fan speeds too? I would look up a safe temp for your card, if it goes over that i would set the fan speed to keep it under that. youthedog
There should be an auto fan option.
Short
There should be an auto fan option. True, but that was made for stock clocks, i had to make a custom profile to keep mine at a reasonable temperature.

Yeah my friend gave me the settings he had for his fans so I set those as mine.
Magic
So after some tests I believe 831 mhz is good (810 default). I averaged 38 FPS considering this GPU can't run games like BF3 or Crysis well.
