Shepard
Not looking to start a flame war here but I am looking for a new phone in the coming days when my plan runs out, any opinions on which one? I'm interested in which one has better specs as well as better customization options/ ease of use. I am a previous iPhone owner but I'm broadening my horizons. Thanks for any relevant feedback. Weeman
S3 definitely. My sister has the iphone 5 and tries to use my phone all the time.
ExGBrian
S3 definitely. My sister has the iphone 5 and tries to use my phone all the time. Thats funny, my parents are actually trying to use my iPhone when they have S3 themselves. ha But in all honesty, THEY ARE BOTH THE SAME. For gods sake, people get android for android and people get iPhone for iPhone. Just go with what you like, they are both almost the same in speed and the only thing is that s3 has a bigger screen which is sometimes a good or bad thing. Shepard
S3 over iPhone but Note II over S3 What's the difference between the Note and S3? I Know the Note has the stylus and a bigger screen, but is there any other major differences?
BranHorse
Throwing in the wildcard here, check out either the HTC 8x or the Nokia Lumia 920. They run windows 8 and I chose the 8x over the s3 and note 2 and I couldn't be happier. Just look up some reviews. Also the note is to big for life haha. Can barely fit in most pockets. Huge Penis
to be completly honest neither i would much rather recommend the nexus 4 from lg/google
Magic
Android has more capability. Just go with an Android type phone. It doesn't necessarily have to be an S3 or a Note.

ExGBrian
There's a lot different.. They are both smart phones and they both have a app market with almost all the same apps. They are the same, they just look different and act different.
TheBibleman
What's the difference between the Note and S3? I Know the Note has the stylus and a bigger screen, but is there any other major differences? Screen size difference is the main difference, note has a slightly faster cpu and you get bot quad core and LTE unlike the s3 you have a choice between Quad core no LTE or Dual core no LTE. Also if you are not into rooting and custom ROM's, note comes with JellyBean. On the note you also get true multitasking and spen. Both are great phones and a way better choice than the iPhone. ToXiC.
if you like to customize every aspect of the phone and like the freedom to do whatever the fuck you want with it go with the s3 if you want a phone that is very simple/restricting but easy to use get the iphone honesty ive had the iphone 4 and the s3 and the s3 blows iphone out of the water. i can do anything i want with it. their is even an official utorrent app so you can download "legal" peer to peer files . Yea I think I agree lol, 5.5 inches or whatever it is seems a little large if you like to customize every aspect of the phone and like the freedom to do whatever the fuck you want with it go with the s3 if you want a phone that is very simple/restricting but easy to use get the iphone honesty ive had the iphone 4 and the s3 and the s3 blows iphone out of the water. i can do anything i want with it. their is even an official utorrent app so you can download "legal" peer to peer files . Wow, I can see this being true too because of how tightly Apple controls their app store etc. Edited February 4, 2013 by Commander Shepard
Soccercrazy
This is how it goes: iOS < Android < Jailbroken iOS/Rooted Android. In the end it is completely personal opinion. Go to a phone store and use an S3 and an iphone, then make your decision based on which one felt better for you. Heres a pretty dated post about the two operating systems. Only thing that's really different is the fact that the iphone 5 came out and brought 4g/bigger screen to the table. Soccercrazy
You are comparing them very broadly, let's say macs and pc's are the same because they are both computers. What he said is true. Comparing different computer operating systems is one thing, but mobile phone operating system operate very similarly. With both phones you will be getting a large selection of apps(most of which are available for both platforms). The difference is that there are some features that iOS doesn't have and Android does have or vice versa. It comes down to what the user wants in his or her phone. Comparing stock iOS and stock Android, you will get the ability to have a much more open OS in terms of how apps interact with it, but the cost of that is the fact that Android is more vulnerable to malware. Sero
Depends on what you're looking for.. Something that will break and feel uncomfy in your hand? The iPhone 5. Something that will last forever and be a heaven to use in whatever way? The Galaxy S3 OR Asus Padfone 2. I would really recommend an Asus Padfone 2, seriously the most marvelous phone I've witnessed. LOVE IT.
