Whats your preferred method?

kepping demos short is good so would you reccomend rerecording at the start of every round and just rewriting the same dem name?

I start a new demo at the start of every round so it's not too long and it's easy to review. that's what I like to do

That's exactly what I do. I record at the start of each round with the same name. If I had to use my admin for any reason like slaying or t-listing I start recording with a different name at next round. That way I have the proof if I need it.

I do this, but i end up forgetting and have really long demos.

Same then i have to use fraps to make small video which is pain in ass.

 

Also sometime long demos get corrupted in middle and whole demo is useless. Fuck valve.

Yep. You think Valve would have fixed this or improved it by now. I usually end up doing 3-4 rounds per demo because I'll forget at the beginning of each round.

record 10 rounds as name "jb1" then STOP. record for another 10 rounds as name "jb2" the STOP. ect
