I passed my aptitude test quite well, and I have an interview scheduled at the LE training center next month. I'll have to see how that goes, plus my polygraph, which will be interesting . I'm doing the reserves program, which is 20 hours a month, plus high volume days since it doesn't require me to abandon my career to get into. It should let me see whether I want to do that kind of thing 40+ hours a week. The downside is that it's unpaid, but I'm always fine for resume fodder.
