youthedog
You should get 16GB of ram if you're also going into video editing.

BranHorse
Did you already get the cpu cooler? Should grab something better for what your paying but if you already got it then its cool. Also you know haswell is coming out next month right? Intel actually prices their new chips cheaper then there current one's.

I would wait a month for haswell i that case. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835108183 H220 made by one of the best watercooling companies out. Was realeased a few months ago and is hard to find a place that doesn't sell out of them in the first week. http://www.jab-tech.com/water-cooling-full-kits/swiftech-h220-compact-drive-ii-plug-and-play-liquid-cooling-system/ Heres one in stock. Jab is a decent company also. The plus side to it is the much quieter and longer lasting pump. Also the block and rad are amazing compared to anything else on the market. Also has the ability to add more on to it. (more rad gpu blocks etc)

BranHorse
are the haswell chips LGA 2011 or will it be a new chipset? LGA 1150 so no =/ Every other gen they do this to get people to buy new boards haha 1150 is supposed to be the same mounting wise as 1156 and 1155 and all heatsinks come with the mounts for them. Diablo_NKZ
If you wait a little, the next gen of i7s are to be released soon. The IvyBridge-E. I'm pretty sure it's the same socket as the SandyBridge-E cpus. So you might want to look into that. I'm not sure about a release date though.
