Tips For Relatively New/noob Players?

I'm not really new to CS, but I completely suck at CSGO. Played in the HG comp server today, and my K/D was around 4/21 my first match.

 

You guys got any idea how I can get gud?

This exactly. Having friends on your team makes it easier to communicate and come up with strategies. As you get some strategies down, you'll naturally learn the map, and improve your aim in CS:GO.

Learn the same way you learned to play other CS. Figure out how the recoil/aiming system works, and use it to your advantage. This is pretty easy to do in deathmatch servers. Go for the headshots first.

I mean... that was your first match, you can't expect to go "neteX" mode and rape every one.

Well not really, I've played CSGO since it came out, just not enough to fully understand the physics and recoil of it. Thanks for the suggestions guys!
