1. Budget

I'm planning to invest 1000 euros into my new PC (that's about 1200$ to be more accurate)

2. Brand preferences

I'm probs gonna put an AMD GPU in it, not sure which, if you guys could recommend me a GPU with 2GB of RAM (or higher) with DDR3 or DDR5 inside (if it can fit the price range ofc), also 16 GB of PC RAM (again not sure if it will fit, I'm not familiar with those prices so I'm asking you peeps), Intel i7 processor (or i5) (maximum cores in it)

3. What do you plan to do with the machine?

I'm gonna put that much monies in it since SOME people decided to make living monsters out of their games, so I'll be buying it for BF4, CoD Ghosts, Watch Dogs and some other next gen titles that will need good PCs.

4. Is there a place where you'd like to get the parts from?

There's a ton of shops in my city, dun worry about it.

5. What parts (if any) do you have already that you don't need upgraded?

None.

6. Do you plan to overlock?

We'll see.

7. Do you have an OS (e.g. Windows) that you can use for this computer?

Not sure, probably Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, buuut, if Windows 8 continues to get more exclusives, why not buy Windows 8 then?

NOTE: Sowwy if I was quite inaccurate sometimes when It comes to specs, buuut, I'm tryin' my best to keep uo with them names etc.

I didn't know what case you like so I just picked one at random.

Anyway, I got bored and put a build together for you. Its 909 without the GPU. The r9 280x are still fairly new and still releasing so I couldn't add them since newegg didn't have any good brands posted. Once you add the GPU in though then the price will be around 12xx. A little over the $1200 but its a pretty good build. The price can be cut down with a cheaper case and power supply.

However, I really do recommend this power supply. Its fully modular so you can disconnect any cable that you dont use to tidy up your cable management. Also the cables are all black so they dont pop out and look messy. It also future proof your PC! If you ever want to buy another graphic card down the line to run it in crossfire then the power supply should be able to handle anything you throw at it. If you don't think you will ever run crossfire/SLI and want to save money then just get a Corsair CX500m PSU which will cut the price down by at least 50-60 bucks.

You can also buy your rams separate since they can be added anytime. Possibly 8gb now then 8gb laters if you need it but you probably won't. You won't get any benefit in 16gb of ram unless you're photoediting or benchmarking. You can also cut out the SSD if you don't need it to save you 100 bucks.

Anyway this build has the follow:

Processor - i5-4670K

GPU - R9 280x

Mobo - Asrock Extreme4 mATX

Case - Corsair 350D or whatever you like or something cheaper

PSU - 650W Seasonic or CX500m to save money

Ram - 16gb G.Skill sniper

Storage - 128gb SSD for OS / 1TB 7200 RPM for Programs/Data/Etc.

Hmmmm, I'm digging it already, sounds like a good spec recommendation! Not really a big deal if I go cross the budget for a lil bit. What if I would put Intel's i7 4770k processor in it? Would the power supply that you mentioned above be enough? What do you think of AMD Radeon HD 7970? Thanks for the previous answer btw!

Honestly I don't like AMD, Intel is better in my opinion. Intel has higher benchmarks as well.

These are my specs for my pc.

MOBO:ASROCK Z77 Extreme 4

CPU:Intel i5-3570K 3.4GHz

CPU Cooler:COOLMASTER Hyper 212 EVO

Ram: 16GB G.SKILL SNIPER

Graphics card: Asus GTX 650 Ti 1GB

Powersupply: Seasonic X-SERIES 650W GOLD

I love it. It's in your price range.

8GB of ram is fine. But I went with 16GB, reason.. I don't even remember.

^ I have to agree. Intel is good right now with native USB 3 and etc on the z77 boards

Yeah either the CX500 corsair or The PSU I recommended will be able to run the i7 4770k fine. It isn't that power greedy at all. The new generation video cards and processor are very power efficient now. The 7970 is fine if you want to get that but I think its the same price as the R9 280x which is a little bit faster.

Hmmm, I think ill just stick with AMD. The R9 280X is good enough, not sure If I will be able to run BF4 on high with it. Edited by Comic King

That case looks like my fridge, but the specs are awesome, might consider some of those parts. Thanks!
