Ok so for christams this year I have decided to get myself a PC to replace my old laptop that is on the verge of breaking but since I have previously only played on a laptop I know nothing about desktop computers and towers ect.

I was searching for a desktop and I came across this one : http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/desktop-pc-monitors/desktop-pcs/pcs-for-gaming/acer-predator-ag3-605-dt-sqyek-004-gaming-desktop-pc-21656659-pdt.html?gclid=CLmmgujWvroCFafMtAodCVIAdA&srcid=198&cmpid=ppc~gg~~~Exact&mctag=gg_goog_7904&s_kwcid=AL!3391!3!31338745220!!!g!59338626500!&ef_id=UkM0eAAABEhL-Yr2:20131030133652:s

From my new computer I want to run high quality games like GTA, Battlefield and COD but I would probably play on css the most.

Is there anything better on the market that you know of?

My price range is around £700 which is $1124.55 or 817.91 Euros (I think)

Thank you

When I build my PC, I went to pcpartpicker.com

They find you the cheapest prices and great deals. Tons of rebates so you can get something else if you have enough left.

Also came from a laptop myself, you're going to love switching to a good desktop. It was worth every $ for me. If you have any questions, send me a message. Be glad to help.

It's a good computer. But for the price it's asking is too high! I mean I spent around $900-$1,000ish USD, and I have better specs than that computer.

Motherboard: ASROCK Z77 Extreme 4

CPU: Intel i5-3570K 3.4 GHz

Ram: 16 GB G.SKILL SNIPER

Graphics Card: Asus GTX 650 Ti 1GB

PSU: Seasonic X-SERIES 650W GOLD

HD: Samsung 1TB

The only part that might be better than mine would be the Graphics Card, but I'm not really sure on that.

BUT DO WHAT MAGO SAID!! Use http://pcpartpicker.com/ it's VERY GOOD. :D

Good luck.

thanks for your feedback guys, I went up to a specialist he he made a list up for me the only down side was that some of the letters were hard to read so i might have some words wrong

Coolermaton Case + PSU

FX AMD 8 core

16 GB corsair vengeance

2 TB Seagate sata III

Samsung 24x

HD 7870 2GB DD ED

Or GTX 660

I would go for R9 series or GTX 7xx instead of the "last gen" cards.

I searched around for PCs that are customisable for your own desires but you can buy them off the shelf and this is what I came up with:

CPU: AMD FX 6300 Black Edition

Operating system: Windows 8

Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P

RAM: 8GB Corsair vengeance 2x4GB

Hard Drive: 2TB S-ATA III 6GB

Optical: 22x DVD RW DL S-ATA

Graphic Card: AMD Radeon R9 280x3GB

Sound: Onboard 7.1 Audio

PSU: 650w Corsair Vs

This will cost me £700 pounds exactly or $1120 ( I think, I used the google converter)
