sharp_shooter
Used to use these, pretty good headphones with good mic quality. A bit out of your price range. http://www.razerzone...ias-for-xbox-pc

daz3d&confuz3d
I have used a Logitech usb headset for a long time and it has not failed me yet. It has been through hell and back with two kids (one just now a toddler) and still has yet to break or go out on me. I recommend at least looking in to them. http://www.logitech....et-h540?crid=36 oh and they are good for VoIP too. Mr Swede # Johan
Unless you scream, the steelseries Sibera v2 is great, my friends can't hear the diffrent from that mic and some god damn headset they bought for twice the amount
Comic King
Gamecom headset series are really cool. I recommend the Gamecom 377 or Gamecom 777 or Gamecom 780 as mentioned above by Short. Gamecom 377 headset costs 40-50 euro, but the mic is very gentle and sensitive so be careful with it, and that headset is very comfortable too! If you want, you can buy a simple Logitech mic and just buy a normal headset with no mic, will save you cash in my opinion.

DeathShot
Plantronics Gamecom 780's usually go on sale on amazon or newegg frequently, I would wait for them to do so. I got mine when they were on sale for just under $55, so I'm extremely happy with them still, and I plan to stay with this headset for quite some time. Bunjee
Id say for a small budget, getting the SteelSeries Siberia v2 is a good way to go. Pretty moderate headset. I currently have the Fnatic 7H's and im pretty sure it has the exact same specs as the v2's and they work great. If your wanting a more high end headset go for Astros, Audio Technica, or pretty soon Seinheiser, they are releasing 2 PC/Gaming headsets early 2014.
