Would rather spend ~$50 more and get a r9 270; http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814121823

Agreed. The r9 is a much superior card.

I just bought all but one piece of my new and first computer and have some concerns after looking in pcpartpicker about compatibility.

If you could just look over and make sure all this will work, that would be fantastic.

My build is

Mobo http://www.newegg.co...N82E16813130679

RAM http://www.newegg.co...N82E16820231426

PSU http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817139028

CPU http://www.newegg.co...N82E16819113286

Case http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811147153

HDD http://www.newegg.co...N82E16822148840

GPU(not bought yet) http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814125446

I would get a better case though. The ventilation on the Challenger is not that great. Iv built out of the challenger and the most challenging thing about it was the space given to work in. I would recommend this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133220 It is a little bit more but from personal experience the case simply has more room to work out of and is better for cable management.
