So I've been using Hammer and messing around making silly maps but i have recently finished what i would consider my first map. Its a gun game map meant to be CQB as compared to most gun games maps where they are pretty open. However, what i have I have noticed is the AI like to run into a specific wall and i can not for the life of me figure out why. Below are the .vmf and .bsp if you would like to see for yourself

Below is a picture of the wall they always walk into. (I tried to upload screenshots here but for some reason they wouldn't upload) Once they get shot or shot at they turn away from it and fire back, but inevitably go back to that wall. If anyone ca figure out why they keep doing that i would be appreciative. Hopefully once i get this issue resolved i can get a formal review of the map and get the map onto the HG gungame server.

I like it but there are some things that are missing, most of them are my opinion but there is some missing textures.

 

Firstly I want to go over the holes in the floor. I like the idea but like you have holes in the wall there is debris around it. I think you should try to add some debris to look like the floor caved it, just to make it look alot better.

 

Next i am not quite sure if the doors are suppose to work but you can only break them not open them.

 

This one is a little picky on my part but for the lights you have a on ceiling that are just normal lights, Displayed here:

in my opinion should be spot lights to look a bit more realistic, but again just my opinion doesnt have to be. If you want to learn some of that stuff go here: http://www.tophattwaffle.com/tutorials/ youthedog gave it to me and it was very helpful
