kimzy
I work in a grocery store. I'm all round baws. I fill the isles, sit at the register and slice deli and cheese. I'm head of the deli/cheese departments along with the big bosses daughter. So yeah I'm pretty awesome. jk my job sucks. I might have 10 people under me but I get payed terribly and can never call in sick. My grandma was rushed to the hospital last night and here I was at 8.30 coördinating fucking meat slicing girls. if I'd be payed as much as the effort I put in I wouldn't complain. ask me anything about fucking cheese and I'll tell you what's up. I'm sure I can put that on my resumé for my future jobs. On the bright side I'm about to graduate as a vet tech and since my bf is a biologist wanting to specialise as a vet, fuckyeah my future's looking brighter. We're planning on opening our own vet practice when we're settled. Also got half of my law degree in the pocket but idk if I'll ever completely graduate that so meh!
The one and only Mega
I work/ own an accounting company with my brother and my father. I take the dirty work as I need to finish my masters. But yeah, I make sure that companies have all their papers in order so we can send them in. We got a new rule in Norway that set us back, only companies making above 2 million kroners (about 350k$) are obliged to have an accountant, So now I am dealing with the dirty work of finding new costumers, and we also buy other accounting companies with their costumers. So what I do now is travel around, having meetings and try to make relations. So far I have been in Sweden and got a new company there and new costumers. We take in all the invoices and receipts so we can put them in order, finding out how much they have to pay in tax, paying employees and ect. It's hard work and you need to spend hours at the night to get finished with your costumer. I only have 2 costumers and my brother has to check my work, but usually there is no problem. Now I just need to finish 4 more years, then 2 years as an apprentice, then I can go after the big bucks

Do you have Russian cheese in store? I love it... As well, good luck with Vet. We got a new rule in Norway that set us back, only companies making above 2 million kroners (about 350k$) are obliged to have an accountant. Didn't hear about these changes.. Is it like an overall good or bad thing for companys in your country?
The one and only Mega
Didn't hear about these changes.. Is it like an overall good or bad thing for companys in your country? It's bad for us, but also good at the same time! We don't have to take the small cases but we lost many costumers. Some still want us to do the work for them, we lost about 1/3 of them sadly. But we manage to get higher profits every year!
DarkMonotone
I don't work yet because I refuse to work a minimum wage job. $5/ph for ANY type of work is basically slave labor.

Ryan Bass
I don't work yet because I refuse to work a minimum wage job. $5/ph for ANY type of work is basically slave labor. You say 5$ are bad per/h.. We have from 1Eur - 2 Eur per/h. And that's how most of the people are living here. They get on the hand ~200Eur. Average will be ~300Eur. 1Galon ( 3 liters ) of gasoline here costs almost 5 Eur. You should have around 2.49Eur. So thing about how "cheap" is here to live. Salary 2 times smaller, gasoline 2 times expensive As well you don't even know how expensive cars are here ( Of course if you are living in USA ). But still we got a lot of Russians who get all new cars and Latvia business mans who work with Russians and do the same. So in the day you could get around 50$.. we can take 40 if you want. 5 working days. 5x40x4=800. so you get at least 800$ if I'm correct? ( 575Eur ).
