Fix For "id [...] Is Not Valid" On Web Bans

This is a fix for the error which occurs when a player copies another player's STEAM ID out of either chat or console, and the STEAM ID is shown as an invalid ID when trying to make a ban report.

What causes it:

 

When copying a player's STEAM ID from either chat or console

 

Examples:

 

 

 

The colors from chat (such as the green color on a disconnecting and/or connecting player's STEAM ID and name)

use special characters to change the color of the message(s) to something other than the default yellow/orange in CSS. These special characters are copied when you copy the message from either console or chat.

 

The fix:

 

1. Paste the copied text into notepad, or any similar program.

2. Delete the special characters/spaces/etc. within the message.

3. Now, when you copy and paste from the text, you will be able to make a web report without any issues from the STEAM ID or player's name!
