What Zcarp is saying is, he was enforcing a rule IN THE MOTD for his benefit. Generally, that rule is for everyone's benefit but most people overlook it. Therefore, it goes un-enforced. He decided to enforce that rule so that it'd be a bit more fun. It's not like he was the only one who could do this, anyone could have gone into the vents as a non-rebel to hide. If they were to have gotten killed as a non-rebel in the vents, it'd be a freekill and I'm sure Zcarp would have taken care of it, rather than only slaying the guy because he killed HIM.

Hopefully that helps a little bit. If not, I can go more into depth.

What rule in the motd? I don't see the one where a T admin can enforce his rules with his admin. or a t may hide in vents and have the admin enforce it when the admin is on t.

 

here are the jailbreak rules show me the one you are misunderstanding. Also he would have been disobeying the orders and was suppose to be shot. Since he made a detour that means he disobey and if it was anywhere else wouldn't he be shot? YUP! Thus he abused his admin since he wanted to try and stay alive and killed someone who was just following the main ct orders.

 

JAILBREAK RULES
FOR PLAYERS:

   * DISRESPECTING ANYONE = WARN THEN BAN
   * PORN SPRAYS = WARN THEN BAN
   * RACISM OR EXCESS FOUL LANGUAGE = WARN THEN BAN
   * FREEKILL = WARN THEN BAN
   * MIC SPAM OR MUSIC = WARN THEN BAN
   * CTs give clear orders to the Ts or make them play games (EG: Simon says, races, gun toss)
   * CTs may ONLY shoot Rebels (Red) Or blatant disobeyers
   * CTs can give text warnings, but not text commands
   * CTs CANNOT FREEKILL, do not kill a player just for the fun of it, they must have hostile intent
   * CTs may only be in vents and armory to kill rebels or escort disobeyers, freekill rules still apply
   * CTs if you DO freekill mistakenly, appologize or be subject to voteban or admin action
   * You may play without a mic, but a mic is required to give COMMANDS
   * Ts obey CT rules while trying to sneak away to kill them
   * Ts if you do get freekilled use voteban, report to admin, or hellsgamers.com
   * Ts last alive can get a last request, type !LR
   * There is no freeday, CTs can give commands anytime
   * "Simon Says" means that anyone who doesn't do the command gets shot
   * "Evil Simon Says" means that, even if everyone does the command, the last T to do so gets shot anyway
   * CTs may kill Ts if they are holding a gun willingly and do not drop it in a couple seconds
   * CTs must warn Ts to drop their gun before killing, if their weapon is holstered
   * CTs cannot give rules regarding mic or chat usage
   * CTs cannot issue an order to a T that will result in a T becoming a rebel, nor can CTs order the Ts to rebel.
   * CTs cannot enter designated area assigned to Ts
   * NO EXCESSIVE CAMPING or causing trouble via any actions
   * Last CT alive may only kill all remaining T's after giving a warning first
   * CTs cannot gun plant, it is illegal
   * CTs not involved in LR cannot interfere or you will be subject to slay.
   * Cts are not to block the vents with items.
   * CTs CAN shoot AFKs (because they're "not following orders")


FOR ADMINS:

   * No ghosting.
   * No cheating or exploits!
   * Be respectful to everyone! A certain amount of smack-talk is ok, but do not be disrespectful
   * Do not be racist or use racist terms! These servers are for everybody
   * No useless spamming of the mic, text, or radio. That means no songs/soundbytes, especially if fellow players are complaining
   * No recruiting or advertising for other clans in here
   * Do not wear the [HG] / HG | tag unless you are an HG member!
   * You may wear -HG- at the END of your name if you want to show support but are not an HG member

   * Bans must be accompanied by a ban report on the HG forums within 1 day of the ban. Ban reports must include proof of wrongdoing, such as a screenshot or a demo
   * Do not speak incessantly in ADMIN chat. Use it for official actions, not to carry out a conversation
   * Do not have admin wars in front of players. Use TEAM ADMIN chat or take the argument elsewhere
   * Do not mass mute, mass kick, or do anything to adversly affect an entire team
   * Do not cause trouble as an excuse to use powers
   * Use your powers to keep the server fun

I enforce this rule. If a CT came in to ESCORT me I would've left but the CT just came in and killed me. ANY T could've came in to vents and hid and if a CT killed them I would've enforced the rule. The CT freekilled me so I killed him. Dynasty has it right.

There was no hostile intent. I didn't even have a gun. Hiding until LR is a strategy many Ts use to stay alive. It's been acceptable since I started playing months ago.

That mean this: CTs CAN shoot AFKs (because they're "not following orders") doesn't apply and shows that any ct that kill the t is "freekilling" and deserve a slay. So your going to try and bend the rules to work around what you want and then enforced the bent rules. You knew what you did wrong and instead of just excepting that you died in Jailbrerak you abused your admin. It is that simple.

No I didn't know that what I did was wrong. I didn't think I bent the rules. I know there is a rule in motd that states AFKs can be killed but I wasn't AFK. Like I said in my earlier post ts have been using this strategy for a while and I NEVER killed a t who hid out. So this is the verdict and to whoever posted this abuse thread I apologize. I didn't know that ts couldn't hid out till lr and I didn't know that cts could just kill ts. Could somebody fix the motd then?

If you are told to be at or in a place, and you are not at or in that place, you are disobeying orders. If you are disobeying orders, you are allowed to be shot. I'm not going to edit the MOTD to include every little subset of this rule.

 

throw "dont be a smart ass " underneath it so people dont try to find loop holes. remember guys....lamp is watching you!

2. Zcarp, you were in vents rather than following the CT's orders so therefore, the OP of this thread shot you. You slapped/slayed (whatever command you did) because the MOTD says CT's can't be in vents for other reasons than "blah blah and blah". You didn't really bend the rules persay, but you set a trap for this CT as an admin. Therefore, it is abuse.

@ The OP. That was me Marzhocci in the screen-shot who was also slapped. However I was on T at the time and got slapped for 99 HP during Evil Simon says which got me killed as we were supposed to freeze after every command. Not sure why I was slapped though since I was a T and not breaking any rules. Guessing Zcarp clicked my name by accident but never apologized.

I can't believe I just wasted 7 minutes of my life reading this. Sorry for bump, it's up on top anyways.

 

Zcarp, you should have just said it was a freeday, nobody could have proved otherwise without a demo. :P

 

On second thought, did anyone state that orders were given? Is there any proof to support that?

 

Maybe it was a freeday, and Zcarp decided he'd go in vents to wait it out. Sometimes I wait in the cells during freeday and some dick-face kills me saying I was "afk".

 

Even if half the shit said here was true, still nothing to support that Zcarp really abused. He simply slapped someone who free killed him, to death. Is there evidence to support that? No.

 

But either way, no evidence to support either of these claims.

People should gather screenshots and demos, like I do. I like to keep stuff, just in case. :}

 

Also the New evidence saying Zcarp was framed thing was a joke.
