Now I normally wouldn't go through the effort of logging in and posting, but I thought I'd do it this time just for record's sake. I casually came on HG jailbreak yesterday for about ten minutes after not playing for about six months. I did nothing out of the norm, was just taking a look at how Jailbreak has changed in the past six months. I try playing some HG deathmatch on Dust2 as I have been for a couple of months on my CSGO account. I log-in today to find myself banned from HG servers yet again. Now, I'm not sure whether this was an error by Kigen or whether he was unaware that I was not banned from HG. I had spoken with SuperSkreech about half a year ago and he can verify this (http://hellsgamers.com/hgbans.php?i=92318-judge-dredd-pho).

I thought this was a little funny. I'm aware that admins can check which ip addresses are associated with different steam accounts. This basically means Kigen or any other admin can find a person who is ban evading by running an IP address through an engine, which Kigen has done here after assuming that I was banned. The funny part of this is that I actually moved (different IP address), was on my smurf CSGO account, and was on a different computer (different mac address). Also, keep in mind I haven't used my microphone at all until yesterday and I was playing on HG deathmatch for months. This pretty much means HG admins had no way of finding out who I was, other than assuming I was Pho through my microphone, or by simply assuming I was Pho by checking the different names I might have used on my account (hundreds of users on steam with the name Pho).

One other possible way could be by comparing my IP addresses to see if they are alike. However, as stated above, I moved and my IP addresses changed completely. This can pretty much only mean one thing, it was declared that I was Pho after I spoke a sentence or two, and because I live in Houston. I thought this was pretty funny, knowing someone would actually take such measures to ban someone who simply sounds like Pho and lives in Houston.
