What had happened was that my buddy had made a new knifing server and i was eager to there with some friends. There were few people on that it got boring and i decided to play something else; i then looked through the servers in my favorites and found HG minigames on the ka_trains map. I am a big fan of that map so i joined the game and found my friend g00se playing and i started chatting with him about what has been going on. Since g00se was a knifing buddy of mine back in the day, i got the idea of playing with him on the server i advertised. I was happy to be able to knife with him after such a long time that i got worked up and started talking about that server saying that the server was brung up by a buddy of mine and his friend, and what the server was like etc, like you guys can see in that screenshot. Well so i then decided to just give him the ip address so we can go knife, but since i was offline in steam, i couldn't pm him and it didn't even cross my mind if the HG servers did allow that or not. So i just stupidly gave him the ip address through chat and went along to the server. | So that is what happened and I really regret making that mistake because it earned me a permaban... but the thing is, it was an honest mistake and i did not intentionally join the HG minigames server just for the purpose of advertising... it all came up so fast that i didn't think before i acted. I also want to say that HyperActicve is lieing about me saying in my mic " There are no admins on so il just post the ip in chat. " Hyper doesn't have proof also that i said that in mic, he is just claiming it, and even though i have no proof that he is Lieing, i just want to say what i know what happened even if it's just my word. I play regularly in the HG gungame server with 95% of activity, and 4th place. I have played on the minigame sever a bit of time also. So i am not necessarily a random person joining the servers just to promote another server, i have played on HG quite a bit, and i have never been banned for anything, i don't think i have ever been kicked by an admin for any disciplinary reason, and i would never intentionally do this to earn me a ban... I just did not know. I am again sorry for what happened and would also like to point out that Hyper waited a long time after me talking about the other server to say do not advertise, it was after i posted the IP that he said, do not advertise; there is a ban. He could have warned me earlier and nothing would have happened. I am not trying to blame him for what happened, that was my honest mistake, but if he had said something sooner, and did not wait until i put the IP in chat, i would have known it was illegal to do so. Finally I am again sorry for what i had done and i please request a reduced ban time because of my stupidity of making that mistake. |
