I just had to create an account because I tried getting into this server and to my dismay I found out that I was banned. When I saw this post I was honestly shocked. Basically what must have happened was someone must have gotten my username and password for my steam account and as a result started trolling. I was playing on gmod on my laptop about around 3 days ago in a public area and forgot to take it with me when I went to the bathroom. I think somebody must have taken this as a chance to change a few settings in my account, steal my password and so on. Because I had exams to complete I didn't try logging back on to steam until around now. To my surprise, it turns out my password had been changed and I was honestly shocked to find out that I was banned from most of the top servers on gmod for trolling. I've gotten everything sorted right now, changed my password, my settings, beefed up my accounts security and so on. I've even contacted Steam support about the issue. I will be sure not to do something as stupid as that again because this was the second times its happened to me (back in December somebody did the same thing except he deleted all my friends from my friends list and posted racist/rude remarks on their pages). Story sounds a bit silly but its true. I will assure you this will never happen again. And if you're still unsure you could always keep a closer eye on me and permaban me the moment I step out of line. This is by far my favorite zombie survival server (possibly even my favorite server on gmod to the point where it was the first one I checked when my account was messed around with) and I found myself really miserable that I wasn't only banned, but issued a permaban on top of it. |

I didn't really submit a ticket to Steam support tbh, only contacted them by phone (they did tell me to send in a support ticket but I thought it would be a waste since it takes ages for them to get back to me). However I got the issue solved in my own time. I realized I hadn't installed Steam Guard yet so I went right away and did that. Plus I changed my passwords and most of my settings to make my account more secure. I know its not your responsibility. Its just something that somehow happened to me out of the blue. That being I think the issue has been resolved for now. But other than that I don't really have much proof other than the hateful comments that the guy wrote on other user's walls. |

From what I could remember, I only discovered this server a few months ago. No matter, everything about what happened yesterday has been the truth. I'm tired of arguing. Its up to you to decide whether or not you want to believe it. |
