The kid said he was 11. 3) There was NO warning for the ban, I was just instantly banned. 4) I play here often, and was joking with the kid. I didn't force him to give me his full name, I simply asked for it. If that's a bannable offense I should have been warned not just instantly perma banned. Maybe you should consider reconsidering sooner than an entire month because the circumstances of the ban are entirely unjust and you're just losing a dedicated player. Edit: I was never asked to stop. If you think you told me to, then you should have atleast verified that I got the message. Not just send in chat "Stop SlyFox" and expecting me to see it when multiple people are chatting, the console is being spammed by the map, etc. |

I then backed off after being told it was only a 1-hr ban. Slyfox wasn't acting as a repeated offender of asking users on the server for their full name or address since he was never warned for his first action. The 1-hr ban could be seen to suffice for a warning when it was given to Slyfox but was immediately elevated to a permanent ban. The change from 1-hr to permanent makes no sense since he was unable to log back onto the server after the initial ban to repeat the same offensive action that brought you to the MG server. I bring this up since your authority to permanent ban him was based on the " I told you to stop. You kept doing it." The chat from the picture, provided above, has no evidence of you warning him. Also, I'm sure the users in the server at this incident could also vouch that you did not warn him over the mic. I would agree that your authority to permanent ban a user is fine on the basis you stated but for this instance, it is not. The basis of your authoritative power lacks for the permanent ban. |
