Battlestate makes changes without saying far too often. This leaves what actually changed and how up for speculation and data mines...but my job is just to report the known facts! -Zekk- We present the Escape from Tarkov 0.13.0.4.23122 technical update. List of changes: Technical backend update aimed at optimizing and expanding internal functionality. List of fixes: Fixed the inability to sell some items to traders that could be sold before. Fixed the inability to create in-game group chats. Fixed not levelling of Health skill upon successful training in the Gym, in the hideout.

Thinking about HG Perp to this day leaves me feeling nostalgic and brings back some of the best memories of my younger years. Thank you all to everyone for all the fun and mayhem had back then.   13. We are thinking of starting raffles of higher end pc parts and electronics. Tickets will be obtainable, one ticket will be one entry into the raffle and multiple tickets can be obtained. Lately I've gotten back into Ark, other than that I've been playing Star Citizen (Off and on), Ready or Not, Warframe, No Man's Sky, RimWorld, Son's Of The Forest, and Minecraft. Sometimes GTA online as well since they made most of the content doable in private lobbies.

  16. I know most will not see this little post, but hi. It's been a very long time hasn't it? I was just a small fry when I first joined HG and played on the servers. I've been just doing personal stuff while away. Not much else to do I guess. I was lucky enough to come in just in time for that player peak for JB (around 2020-2021 or so) and had such a good time. I quickly joined the community and loved it. Sad to see that there's not much activity anymore when it comes to JB. I don't play CS:GO as much as I used to, but I would definitely get on JB if enough people decide to start playing again. Been mostly spending my time playing TBOI and GGST (hence the new pfp lol). I hope that everyone has been doing well. I would love to catch up with all of y'all sometime. A lot of things can change in a couple years so it would be cool to see what's been going on and then hop on JB for a bit. dzy

  17. Man, I almost came to tears seeing this community again. I brought tears to my eyes to see people I played with 10 years ago retire from the community, and even fewer that are still Recruits, Members, Vets and so on. EXITE, ASCII, The Governor, Cosmic, Icon, Lemonade!, Shot, JJK, and Iron Chef. I miss y'all. All the jailbreak hours on CS:S and CS:GO... CS:S Iceworld.... a simpler time. Even seeing Homer, the founder of the community step down is insane to see, but after almost 20 years, I guess it was time. This community was a MASSIVE part of my childhood and teens. I love this community and I'll periodically come by and say hi. Until next time I love y'all, and you will all always have a place in my heart and mind.

  21. Dear Mr.HG, I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and concern regarding my recent purchase of the microwave model HG Microwave. While the HG Microwave does indeed function appropriately within its designated indoor space, I must bring to your attention a significant issue - it is physically unable to fit on the soccer field. When I bought the HG Microwave a few weeks ago, I was pleased with its performance and efficiency in heating and cooking food. However, I recently organized a soccer game picnic and thought it would be a great opportunity to use the microwave for warming up some snacks and refreshments at the field. Much to my dismay, upon attempting to transport the microwave to the soccer field, I quickly realized that its size and design were not at all suitable for outdoor use. The HG Microwave is bulky and not at all portable, making it nearly impossible to carry it to the field. Its dimensions does allow it to fit through standard doorways or into the trunk of a regular-sized vehicle. I am utterly disappointed that nowhere in the product description or user manual was it mentioned that the HG Microwave would be impractical for outdoor usage due to its size and lack of portability. As a consumer, I rely on accurate product information to make informed decisions, and this omission has led to a significant inconvenience and waste of resources. I firmly believe that household appliances should be versatile and adaptable to different scenarios, and it is disheartening that the HG Microwave falls short in this aspect. I had hoped to use the microwave not only for indoor purposes but also during outdoor events, such as picnics and gatherings.   25. Hey Gamers, Riot has announced that Placements games will me changing from 10 to 5 to make you get your rank faster! Also they will be adding Emerald tier between plat and Diamond to help flatten the curve of players in silver and bronze and move more people upward toward gold at least. But the most significant change is that they are removing promotion series. once you pass the lp threshold you will move up to the next tier. No more having to win the next 2 out of 3 games to switch tiers!   26. Just came across your post. I believe this move to Steam and Bungie's control is a huge step forward for the franchise. The idea of cross-platform saves is pretty exciting, as it allows players to seamlessly continue their progress regardless of the platform they're playing on. It's a step towards a more connected gaming experience.

  27. Finally updating this thread.... So I don't powerlift anymore, instead I do something much more fun! Olympic Weightlifting! I'm currently working through an injury and coming back from taking a long break, so the weight on the bar is low. My previous PRs for Clean and Jerk and Snatch are 100kg and 80kg, respectively. My squat got up to 140kg, but I only ever did that once. Anyways, the videos above are just some of what I've been doing recently. Keeping it light and doing mostly form work. Anyways, that's my lifting update.

  37. Current state of business as of Feb 2023. This is basically a "state of design" post that is designed to highlight what I believe are strengths, weaknesses, successes and failures of this institution. To those reading, do note that I reserve the right to be constructively critical as a whole as my intention is to identify what was done well and what can be improved upon in the days ahead. Also, I'm doing this because I KNOW FOR A FACT that no one else here has the time or the intuition on the ground to make these calls. Server Successes Strengths All role aspects of the server are reasonably balanced given a decent degree of knowledge and skill from melee to ranged to cading to zmaining. Many options exist but the majority of player options are to some degree useful. I would like to see more of the zbosses you get each wave be useful but those require a higher average pop to allow people to branch out more. We are significantly more welcoming to new players who may have no idea what is going on. This is critical as each one of these zs servers still severely lacks a good way to introduce people to playing. Given our current attrition rates, this is more important than ever. Don't expect a lot of the old players to come back, so just get new players to take their place. It will take time to "train them" so to speak, but the alternative is obviously worse. As long as our gain rate is equal to our loss rate, we will at least hold on. Weaknesses Everything is still too confusing for new players. More pointers are needed. We don't have enough experienced players at any given time to cover enough roles. We are effectively in a position where the entire server hinges upon 2-3 people, me included. This is not an acceptable position to be in for server stability. The server issues encountered from October to December caused critical damage in this and is probably the reason we are in the current situation. I only hope that people learned from this. Anyone who is looking for a "community" as the primary reason to join one of these servers effectively won't find that here. Institutional Successes While the extended maintenance was a minor shitshow, the communication towards me and everyone else was significantly better than in the past. Especially with the 2 month issue of the server not showing up in the browser, there was effectively NO communication to the general server about this, and while I'm not going to dig around archives seeing how previous devs tried to communicate with you, my guess is that it probably wasn't very good. Better user feedback. Recent decisions have made us signifcantly more receptive than in the past. The idea of giving maintenance rewards is taken from the playbook of actual game developers when they take a game down for updates. It may be a minor thing but it does say that we do care about the people who play on the server. Institutional Failures Overall lack of vision design. I know that this isn't exactly your forte in general, but these things are important for trying to really hash out priorities. We should have had the winrates problem fixed many months ago if enough pressure and support was directed towards the issue. Sometimes, it takes people being on the same page to get a gameplay priority dealt with, and I know that many of you barely have time to manage this as it is in your lives, so at least some definition of leadership objectives would be nice for everyone to acknowledge. Some roles still insufficiently designed. They were designed for a past that no longer exists. I know that if I stuck to specifically the duties outlined to me I could be taking a bench warmer role and nothing would be said about it. Still a tiny bit too insular. I know that I'm trying to be the bridge between you and everyone else, but it still leaves people making assumptions about you that can't be disproved when you aren't there to disprove them. We need to think outside the box a bit more and be more concerned about the clock and time in general. Gone are the days in the past where things just happen whenever. We're not setting hard deadlines for anything but I've seen games like Darktide take HUGE hits in playerbase count because they couldn't get their roadmap content out fast enough. On that note I have proposed our state of design objectives for the next few months We need that MOTD up for real. We need a short bullet point page telling new players what to do and where to buy weapons from. It needs to be very short and concise because I don't want people to read paragraphs to know what to do. No one looks through user agreements anyway. Just a few pointers, make them check a box to say they have read it, and move them on. Better information availability for our "newer" regulars. They shouldn't need to use trial and error nearly as often to figure out what is good for a given situation. We need new events. We can't change the core gameplay that much because there is really not much left we can change, but new events that no one has experienced before can change that dynamic significantly. The way ALL games die is that people get bored of the gameplay loop and stop. Something that changes the formula is what we need because we cannot rely on a sufficiently large community to carry us through anymore. Alright, rant over. Play nice, everyone.
