- Each rule posted here applies directly to all forums on this web site.

 

- Flaming, derailing attempts, stupid and/or overly trivial threads will be deleted without warning.

Further punishment will dealt with on a case by case (person by person) basis.

 

- It is up to the discretion of the Councils and Leaders as to what is breaking the rules.

 

- Absolutely no garbage threads.

 

- No recruiting or advertising of any sort. You will be permanently banned if you attempt something like this.

 

- Opinionated threads are strongly discouraged, e.g. religion, politics, sexual preference, etc.

All of these are good ways to troll but nonetheless unacceptable.

 

- Everyone in HG have been here for a certain amount of time. Some may receive more lenience than others. Know that although you may be a vet, member, or recruit, punishments will still be different.

 

- Please note that certain threads are meant for certain things and thus certain rules may not apply. If you feel uncomfortable about posting, don't. You can always ask a moderator about whether it is acceptable or not.

 

Punishment for breaking said rules

*** 1st Offence: Warning via Post and PM ***

 

*** 2nd Offence: PM #2, Up to a 24 hour forum ban ***

 

*** 3rd Offence: Up to a week forum ban. ***

 

* Addedum: Demotion from HeLLsGamers may occur for members being persistent breaking rules*

Since this is the new addition to the forums adding the ability for non-hg members to use our forum for rational game discussion there will be rules specifically for this section of the forums and will be kept "clean" to the best of the moderator abilities.

 

1. Do not attempt to hijack or troll a thread (warning then permanent ban from this section of the forums)

2. No NSFW material is to be posted here, ever.

3. Do not re-make threads for the same game, search this section of the forum for the game.

4. If you are making a game discussion thread, have the game's name in the title. if you have a thread titled "OMG DID ANYONE GET THIS?" without the game name it will be deleted and you will be warned.

5. NO RACISM, FIRST OFFENSE = PERMANENT BAN OFF EVERY SECTION OF THE FORUMS.

6. No spamming threads, anyone who posts "lulz" or "cool story bro" will be permanently banned from this section of the forums.

7. No imageshack links, after awhile they turn into giant broken links with frogs for the picture.

8. If you are starting a thread for a game, do not simply just link to another site, we can all use the internet. Post general information, your thoughts, or whatever as well.

9. If there is a section (e.g. Counter-Strike Source or League of Legends), please don't post a thread in this section. We have parent threads dedicated for that exact reason. As well, you would probably get a better response by posting it in the right thread.

 

Rules will be added as the moderators see fit. Welcome to this section of the forums though!
