Big Al
I find when we play team games it's hard to differentiate between team A and team B. I think it would be cool to allow VIP+ / admins to set the color of a player using a plugin like this: https://forums.allie...ad.php?p=577144 With the following stipulations: - No coloring rebels - No coloring T's red - No coloring CT's This way we could color T's according to what team they're on, and it would also be a bit more of an incentive for donators etc. You could modify the plugin to only allow for certain colors to be accepted etc. This would at least promote more team-oriented games. If you don't like the idea at least please give some good criticism.
Short
I don't really play jailbreak so bear with me but, how about if there was some command that would divide the team into 2 and color them green and yellow and if someone rebels it would work like it normally would and switch the rebels color to red. Your original idea won't work or will be extremely limited in the colors you could use. Edited May 13, 2014 by Short
DeathShot
This would just lead to admin abuse really.. "OH HEY LOOK IM GREEN AS A T LOL XD"
Big Al
t's are either in orange or zebra jumpsuits, and ct's are blue and look like ct's... how is that hard to tell the difference? What you're recommending goes against the point of this thread. Yeah that works until you have 2 zebras and 10 oranges. Then what. This would just lead to admin abuse really.. "OH HEY LOOK IM GREEN AS A T LOL XD" Again you could impose further restrictions, i.e not being able to set colors unless you're a CT It has the same risk of abuse as anything else to be honest. Just set rules and restrictions in place.

If lead can't keep track of the teams, he shouldn't be having those days. If its such a problem, he can grab a pen and paper.

Well when you're playing 6 on 6 soccer and one team wins, you end up having to look at names before you start shooting which makes it a lot harder to kill them, as opposed to say just shooting all green T's. You can also just bind the command to @aim and just look at all the T's you want to color. I've seen it done in the past in communities I used to be a part of, it does work well. I'm just trying to promote some friendly change to spice things up on JB. We're all getting tired of opinionated this or that days, LR;FR, 300 and obs. Maybe. Going through and having the admins manually change the colors for each team might just end up being a lot of confusion/trouble/etc. The best/only way I could see this working is if Lord Bun were to code it to randomly color half of the T team (only non-rebels) into two separate, even teams. He should be back sometime soon, so it might be better for myself to digress until Bun is back.

Allowing total control over color could also mean we could color a single T for games like Queen Bee though. But if it's not doable, at least a team splitter/colorer would be awesome. We could at least try it, worst case scenario people can't handle the privilege and it gets taken away. Thank you for giving consideration into it though, I appreciate it. TEH_TROLL
Considering the abuse reports we have now just for jailbreak, this would lead to worse
