How To Bind Keys W/goblin Using Console!!

OK, i am making this tutorial because i didn't know how to bind keys and i thought it was a really cool trick,If you don't know what it means to "bind" a key to a command, or for it to automatically say something all by the touch of a key. For example, in the jail break server you might find yourself trying to type "!pd" or "!rtd" at light speed, and not being fast enough and loose your roll.

 

The first thing you need to do is enable the Developers Console (~) in CSS itself. To do this: go to Options>keyboard>advanced and check enable Developers Console, After that hit OK to save it and return to the game or main menu.

 

Now, above the tab key you will find a key with (~) and (`). Press that key and a little window will open. It is most likely full of lines of text, or chat messages just ignore them. At the bottom there is a empty bar to type. In there type (or paste) this: bind p "say_team !pd" , after that you should be able to simply hit P on your keyboard in the beginning of the round and never be too slow or there be too many rolls.

 

This will use "team chat" to say "!pd" whenever you press the "p" key. Replace the "p" with what ever key is easiest for you to hit, Remember not to bind a key you need for what ever you play like W,A,S,D,E,G,F,Y,U,SPACE,CTRL,SHIFT,Q, i think i listed all the keys used but not every one uses Q but remember you can change what keys do what my going to options>keyboard and click on the action you wish to edit and Hit the Key you wish to re-map and hit Ok to save your changes.

 

Now, there are different ways to use this. For example of how else to use this is to type bind b "buy". Now when you hit the "b" key open the buy menu for you.Cool Right? or another example if you aren't a fast typer (like me) you can bind keys to an answer i know a lot of leads who always ask whats 2+2x2 and i'm never fast enough to type out 6 so what you do is you out smart the other Ts and go to Console by pressing (~) and type bind 6 "say 6".

 

Also another thing you can do is bind a key to say something you say often or you say after you wreck someone for instance a motto,saying or simply killed by (your name), to do this its pretty simple find what you wish to say, ill use what i have binded to 1, Once you know what you want to have binded and a key you wish to bind it to Hit (~) to open console and type: bind 1 "say øk, чoÏ…'Ñe Δ Gøøи вʊт ωнaÏ„'s Δ Gøøи τ໠Δ ǤøßliИ?" and when you press 1 it will automatically say that in chat faster than you can type it.
