I was debating on where to post this but I guess I will post this here since most of you guys know me. I have been playing on HG CSS:JB for about 5 years and man has it been fast. I remember first getting on CSS:JB my senior year of high school and thinking what the hell this shit was but man was it fun times back then. It has been interesting seeing the map evolve into what it is today. I remember when 1st cell would go straight to armory and the lead would have to say "No Armory" immediately or else the T couldn't be killed for being in armory. I remember USP cell and lead would need to get secure the USP. I remember pool back when there was a kiddie pool. I remember broken ass volleyball. I remember red light green light. I remember when we tried to add different JB maps to the rotation and that failed. I remember a time before gangs and that truly was the golden times. All the T's united in the common goal of overthrowing CT's. But now we have All Queers and ShitSquad. But as fun as it has been seeing the changes of the JB map, I have also witnessed the change in this community. I wasn't in HG for a long time but if I had joined HG when I started playing, I would be 90% that I would be a veteran by now. As the years had gone by, I have noticed that more and more things were changing for the worse. There was a time when playing on the server was actually chaotic and fun. We didnt used to have too many rules back then because it was good times and people knew not to be an asshole and to just have fun. But look where we have come to. 130 rules? Seriously? Can you even name them all? How do you know you arent breaking a rule right now? I think what really started to ruin the server was the introduction of the "no disrespect" rule. It was abused so much to the point where admins or HG members can say all sorts of horrible disrespectful things, but one comment to an admin or HG member, then they took it up the ass way too seriously and would cry "disrespect, disrespect." I wont name any names but there are some of you who really sucked the fun out of this server. What happened to the fun? What happened to just having a good time? People took this game way too seriously where if they got freekilled, they would bitch and moan like they just had their penis cut off. I'm not saying I wasn't guilty of this either. But what I know I did try to do was try to have fun. I tried doing different days instead of Simon Says every other day. I did days like Hunger Games, or Olympics, or Running Day, Dive Day, or Christmas Tree Day, just days where we can mess around with and where people actually earned their LR instead of doing last reaction just because you lag less than the other three guys. Now, everyone does the same shit over and over again. Simon Says. Lava Day. Duck Hunt. Obstacle. Soccer. Hurdles. 300. Gatekeeper. Pokemon. Opinionated Day. What happened to the creativity? What happened to the fun? I dont know, but what I do know is that people are afraid to kill admins. People are afraid of killing zebras. I would hope that Reddevil will mess up just so I could kill him. Moment Archer tried to rebel, he gets blasted. JJK is AFK in a cell? Time for 450 damage to his skull from my awp. But would you kill these admins? Most likely not. So what happened when people started to realize that admins had some sort of immunity? Everyone bought admin. With buying admin, comes great power. And unlike spiderman, with great power does not come great responsibility, instead great power came with giant assholes who ego-tripped. You know who you are. Anyway, I am writing this because I am finally banned. Well a group ban, but a ban none the less. I have seen a lot of personalities get banned. Pho. Consuela. GI-Jose. Now what did I get banned for? For supporting a friend of mine. I don't know what the reasons are for Tech's ban and I really don't care because I understand that it is your servers HG and you can choose who you want to play in it. Now ultimately, it comes down to this. If you own the playground, you choose who gets to play or not. But once you start kicking out all the people who make the playground fun, and you only let in people who shit all over the playground play, pretty soon your playground will get covered in shit. So I would like to conclude with this. Thank you HG for the great times. And also thank you for the ban because I realized that besides your awesome servers, there are other great servers out there in the CSS community. Some of which I have already seen other HG members visit. So until our group ban gets lifted... Be creative. Kill zebras. And have fun. AKA other trolls. Tec 9 was banned for advertising the group and the server. All you have to do is leave the group and that's it.. I know there's some sentimental value to it, but jeez... You complain about people who abuse their admin as if we don't act on proof of abuse or rulebreaking. Furnish evidence of either and the user(s) involved gets punished. It's that easy. Also, about the group ban, think of it like this. Someone has a track record for breaking rules and crossing the line too often, and it eventually aggregates to where the history is insurmountable for anyone to absolve him. If that person starts a large group and again starts breaking rules on our servers/forums, do you think that anyone associated with him is going to be particularly pleasant? It's funny how you point out how JB has had a long history and is now getting boring and repetitive. After almost six years of being up, of course the server is getting boring and repetitive. The JB bible is probably one of the better motd's we have had for jailbreak (if you know so much history of jb then you will know that slazenger's list of rules was the worst). The "no disrespect" rule has been there for a long time. It doesn't stop people from disrespecting. It doesn't stop me from disrespecting, but I never go overboard with my disrespect. A simply "your shit" is different than constant harassment of a player on the server which is what most people who are disrespectful do. You claim that you are 90% sure that you would be veteran. I am also 90% sure that if you did actually become veteran, you would join the great ranks of those veterans who have been banned from HG for being an idiot in some form. Also CSS is a dead game. It was a good time in my life and I dont regret playing here but looks like I gotta play somewhere else. If I didn't really enjoy this server deep down, why else would I keep playing for so long? I've said this 9000 times, but I guess i have to say it once more. If an admin has abused, or is being a douche canoe, come into ts3 and tell someone about it. TS3 is the fastest way to get things handled. The group was banned because he relentlessly advertised on our forums after causing enough issues to get a few ip bans on his track record. The most recent occurrence of him posting thread advertising was a few days ago. The day of the group ban actually. If this is truly goodbye, I've enjoyed the times I've played with you, mr bear. You were one of my favorites that played when I used to play, I will never forget the time you first showed me that Major Tom song performed by Chris Hadfield onboard the ISS. Because instead of just using some common sense, you decide to start whining that "the rules weren't on the MOTD". If it was my choice the bible wouldn't exist.
