Hud Issues.

Recommended Posts

Well I got tired of Windows 10 and the privacy BS so I went back to linux. Right now I'm having issues with something I've never seen before and not sure on how to fix it. I was wondering if anyone here migh have some ideas on how to get it back to normal.

That is currently what my HUD looks like and it is very annoying. I know it is possible to get it back to the edges of the screen but it shouldn't be doing this in the first place.

lol. you've been reading too many "tech blogs"

Lol I am a tech and I always go through any verson of windows and disable such things myself. I use torrents a lot and they've changed the privacy policy to basically state that they can remove things from your computer without your knowledge if it is found to be outside their definition of legit. (Which granted what I use but still). This policy change includes 7-10 and most of the torrent sites have actually banned Winodows from being used. I am also a Linux person by nature so it isn't that big of a change just first time Gaming on it effectively.

Also should be noted I saw the option to resize right after posting this but forgot to mention it.

Though there is still more than enough that I don't want to use Windows anymore. I prefer to have more control over what is going on with my computer than Windows actually allows.

there is another article that explains it a bit better. Even if you configure it your system will still send things to MS at some point.

Either way what is done is done. I"m working on getting used to Gaming under Linux and it is still pretty sweet.
