Map Name: zs_mercurytown

Current Version: zs_mercurytown_v1c

Updated Version: zs_mercurytown_v1h

Reason for update(if applicable):

- Added a new house to barricade in

- Removed boss spawns next to the houses

- Added windows in the storage building which have 3-5k health

- Removed zombie gasses near the houses and park which didn't have zombie spawns to begin with

- Added zombie gasses in certain laboratory rooms where zombies spawn so players know where to look out for zombies

- Removed some barrels from the map

- Added more decorations outside and in the laboratory

You can't keep putting out several updates every few days and expect me or whoever it is to update it on the server every time. It will be updated in the next update batch.

Note: I DID NOT MAKE THIS MAP, I just fixed some stuff up that was really bad.

 

-Fixed the room with missing textures causing a trippy effect and see through walls (added floor textures and ceiling textures)

 

-Added 2 area portals on the room that was missing textures

 

-Added 2 new lights to the room that was missing textures

 

-Fixed the door on the room that was missing textures(?) *door didn't work when I tried it, so I fixed it*

 

-Cropped a few brushes to adjust to the fixed textures

  • Skip the part where it crash
  • Removed 2 collapse
  • Removed 5 minutes of the map
  • -30mb size of the map
  • Various change and balance
  • Fixed invisible valve after changing map

I think v1i is far enough and the changes you've made finally merit a v2 if you could please provide a v2

I noticed there were a lot of bugs in v2 of mercurytown, People were missing textures, textures were glitching, so I spent hours of roaming through the map to clean up as many goof-ups as possible and made it v2b

I will upload this but after this update that's it, you're gonna have to wait before it gets updated again. You keep sending in too many requests, if possible look at working on some new projects such as these or anything else that comes to mind.

- Added more detail & decoration to the world

- Added a new house next to the office

- Lowered the treehouse since fast-zombies couldn't jump to it

- Made the houses look more realistic

- Spiced up the office building to have more shape.

Reason for update (if applicable): Rampage worked very well before but for god which reason zombine dont like trigger_class since few day and make the server crash forced to make new version just for fix it and some other minor change needed.

If you'd like sure. I'd like to add a working version of ski_resort back, forget the other maps for now.

If you can, remove the HG logo and _hg_ from the map name so (zs_ski_resort_v2) and remove the light switch so it cant be spammed, just keep the lights on.

You're lucky I didn't delete my Hammer folder. I thought about doing so after I left. I'll get a working version to you in a few days. Where is the button located?

Fixed the issue with Doors constantly opening and closing causing annoying to both zombies and humans

Vents are now zombies only with the added trigger_push that affect the humans (No More vent cade)

Added numportal to improve performance

Convert some of the map geometry into func_detail for improved performance in some areas
