Gewehrwolf
I've been meaning to make this for a long time Elements in this game that turn it into basically a Casino Cards, of course Self Explanatory The chances of getting cards on top of the cards themselves Good luck getting HMs against people who already have fully upgraded shit, and all for the chance of MAYBE getting a good card which can take almost a year. And once you do get a good card, put someone else through the same problem. Juggernaut Fuck these guys. I hate it when I work so hard to get the MVP spending a metric fuck ton of points, and then it all means nothing because some asshole is a lucky cunt and walks away with awards and points that they didn't bleed for. Max Threat Same Principle as Juggernaut Bonus Crates The least problematic out of these, but good crates are almost always going to be taken by players with better RNG regarding the cards they earn Obtaining Tier 6 Weapons People with less than 100 hours on Gmod shouldn't be given weapons that change the game so drastically. There actually isn't a real way to fix this, I just want to make you aware that the problem exist. Any game designer with half a brain stem knows that games with too much reliance on chance are broken and unbalanced. Take a look at Star Wars Battlefront II if you don't know what I'm talking about. Contrary to popular belief, random isn't equal. Random is bullshit. Take the RNG crap out of your game
Jxhn
Let’s make an event where everything is RNG
Porter2455
I can agree with several of these points on top of an issue I've been working presenting to that has taken some time to prepare. It'll be out later. Cards: I really like the card system, but there's no denying it's really hard to get good cards. It takes ages upon ages to get anything other than large decks, small decks, and the occasional chest. I've talked to other people with this, and we need something besides the honorable mentions to start getting rewards. Daily logins or missions would be a fantastic way to everyone to get methodical, good crates. Unless you're a god like QueQui, your pretty lucky to get more than 2 decks in like 5+hours of playing. If you want to go for lots of mentions, you are more or less forced to go zombie every game and super omega tryhard, or stay human and have no hope of profit. I don't think the rates of getting the legendaries are a problem, I believe its the rates of getting the good chests. Since returning in mid December, I believe I have opened 1 mythic chest (from christmas event, not from mentions), 2 or 3 large chests, 1 epic chest, and 1 legendary chest. I got my first and only legendary from the legendary chest. I get and agree that a legendary should be special, but holy hell is it horrible to have to find the motivation to try and grind for another 45 mentions that also happen to be lucky enough to land you a deck, that's another 100 hours of playtime at least. Jugg: Jugg leaches off the card problem. I like jugg, as it adds a cool extra incentive for going zombie and redeeming at the end of the game, requiring to get brains. However, going for mentions and trying to get most kills is already hard enough. It's maddening when some dude gets lucky and steals a potential chance of a card from you. Max threat: No problem here really. A nice little point bonus for zombies every now and then. It sucks when a stacked human team gets max threat to further crush zombies, but that's really a small problem that gets outweighed Bonus crate: I'm going to leave this point alone, as I enjoy bonus crates, but have something bigger to say regarding them in another post. T6: Another point I'm going to tackle as part of a bigger problem. I love t6 at it's core, however, so I disagree that they are stupid just for existing. I agree with you most on the card system. I shouldn't have to not want to tell players how to get the good crates, as telling them only makes it harder to get HMs yourself. Thanks for bringing this up. Specially with the cards. I suggest getting cards for a specific weapon by actually using that specific weapon. Instead of having this lootbox lottery that we have now Lets just hope others see this Edited February 16, 2018 by GewehrWolf
Quiquenrique
is stupid as a glock tier 1 level 8 is better than all tier 2 weapons and some tier 3 Edited February 16, 2018 by Quiquenrique
pho-
Getting cards doesn't necessarily require skill as stated above ^; you can literally buy an ff and place it strategically to guarantee a HM. Shooting wise and zombie wise, its a matter of knowing when and where to be at the right time. Especially with playtime, these things shouldn't be an issue if you have decent game knowledge.
