Past
The fact my laptop crashed while trying to type this up.... 1. Budget $1300 USD 2. Brand preferencess I currently have no idea what is good and what is bad. 3. What do you plan to do with the machine Playing games and should be able to smoothly run adobe softwares. 4. Is there a place where you'd like to get the parts from BestBuy would be preferred but I can order them off amazon or something. 5. What parts (if any) do you have already that you don't need upgraded Nada 6. Do you plan to overlock? No idea what this mean ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. 7. Do you have an OS (e.g. Windows) that you can use for this computer? Pretty sure i can buy that. Something thrown together so far. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yqZNQZ Edited April 6, 2018 by Past
slav
ok so at best buy they only sell really shitty parts, and if you limit your stores to just amazon we might not be able to get you the best stuff for your money. any chance you could consider using websites like newegg to buy parts? Pyrrhic
Not from Best Buy or Amazon but this prebuilt computer shipped by Micro Center is a straight upgrade from both the computers already linked (while currently on sale for $300 off). I got an HP omen from Micro Center recently and, while I haven't put it through it's paces, I've been happy with what I've seen so far. Only problem is it doesn't include a monitor.
relavis
If you need peripherals: go with Corsair. They're a bit more on the expensive side, but they last a LONG time. I have the following: VOID Wireless Headset RGB Headset Stand ST100 Scimitar Pro RGB Mouse Polaris RGB Mouse Pad K95 RGB Platinum Keyboard HD120 RGB Fans Corsair Lighting Node PRO They are all extremely reliable and in my opinion they are worth it.
Docket
Yea all those parts are, great but amazon and best buy no. I rather choose https://www.newegg.com/. and maybe like Ironside computers or Digital Storm The i5-7600k, is rather preferred for me because it can get over 100 or 200 fps in CS-GO in high settings. Logitech G230 Stereo Gaming Headset is rather preferred to because its more cheaper. Asus VE228H 21.5" Full HD HDMI LED BackLight LCD Monitor w/Speakers is more cheap and maybe the same thing. And that's it. Its less than the PC you made on the top. Edited April 8, 2018 by Docket
