Bart Simpson
My pc will shut off randomly when I’m playing any kind of game no warning or anything and will do the same thing when it’s sitting idle
Icon
Check your heatsink fans, maybe it's shutting off to prevent overheating and damaging the CPU. This happened to me once, I started actually cleaning my PC ever since.
Lynxx
If what Icon said isn't the cause, there is a chance for bad RAM, as I had this problem and that fixed it, or in the worst case bad Mobo. What are your temps and specs?
Bart Simpson
I don’t know how to check the temps and stuff
Icon
You can use Speedfan or something similar to check your temps Though if it's the fan that doesn't work, then all you need to do is turn on your PC and see if it spins
