We have a new Dedicated server that will host about 10 games. We are looking for ideas for games to host on the server.

If you have any ideas post here.

 

We try not to add servers that we already have on hand.

 

 

Btw Give Chris a Huge thanks for donating the server :)

A zombie mod reload, but with crouch spots, vent camping, and in tubes being illegal. So they would be force to go to locations where it is possible to get them. For css and if a human knifed a zombie they fly away it's so much fun. Also with infinite zombie spawn, like if they die thy come back to life. Just ideas :)

TF2 Zombie fortress would be nice, but we only have 1-map TF2 servers. If we had a rotation map, that would draw more than just people wanting to play Goldrush or Mariocart, but people wanting to play all sorts of maps! It would really increase popularity. Also, make it a 24 player, there are too many 32 servers out there, and I know a lot of people want more 24's.

-Eco Map Rotation: There are half a million CAL map rotation servers out there. We'd have to figure out how to make ours stand out. But it's a possibility

 

-Regular Crackhouse is far less popular than it's DM counterpart.

 

-We've done an AIM maps server half a dozen times already. Every time we start one up, people promise to play in them, and they stay empty after the first day.

 

D2DM#2 is currently working as an overflow for the first DM server. We have yet to decide what to do with it at this moment in time.

In regards to TF2, a lot of people who been suggesting a new rotation server. However, I would strongly recommend against that. Even the most popular of servers EMPTY once the server rotates to a map absolutely no one likes (e.g. Well in any incarnation). However, I do think an HG server with more than map would be more than welcome, just not using a standard rotation. I suggest a vote rotation instead, where the players vote on the next map in the rotation, and can vote to continue playing on the current map. From what I've seen, these tend to be more popular and they don't have the mass quitter problems that standard rotation servers do.

How about a fort map with instant respawn, and we could Also do the night version so it would change around a little, but wouldn't be to different that everyone will leave.

Though Fulcata, you actually hit the nail on the head on my issue with rotation servers. Right now we have a KotH rotation server with Sawmill, Nucleus and Viaduct. It's mainly there to test out the bot AI that Steam introduced, but it's a fully working server with RTD and fast respawn.

Well that sucks, either way whatever server we get should get instant respawn, since noone likes waiting 15 secs to respawn.
