bort
nice graphics card! i am the biggest AMD fanboy ever and I've bought AMD for years; i'm even running a Phenom II X4 940 Black on this Pc right now. but I gotta tell you, the i7 beats it like none other, and I hope hope hope AMD will start releasing Tripple-Channel DDR3 mem controller CPUs that can beat the crap out of the i7, but thats probly not gonna happen for a little while P.S. get a SSD they r so nice http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167016
Weeman
too expensive for me right now i'll wait for price drops. load times aren't a big issue for me, and yes i am an AMD fanboy as well :-) but im also a nvidia lover, which is hard for me to get these 5870s and what do you think about this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130480&cm_re=gtx_285-_-14-130-480-_-Product compared to the 5870s? ~Aj~
I would go with the Antec 1200 or 902. If you need a PSU you can get an awesome antec 850w + the antec 1200 case on newegg in a bundle for 240. I would also try to find a better mobo with usb 3.0. Dr.jiggles
Sexy comp. but get a better tower haf-932 is very nice and good bang for the buck Also you might want to wait for some new AMD cpu's since the 965 is good but after getting 1 or 2 more 5870's the cpu will underclock your comp. Aaaaflasd
I'd recommend these for cases: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129043 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119213 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133056 And for PSU's: Basically anything from Corsair, but This: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207003 And This: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139013 Could work. RetiredTacos
Okay so Sapphire is fine, but a waste of money for the "vapor x" cooling, and their warranty isn't impressive. Go with these. XFX version 400$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150456 Double lifetime warranty and great customer service. For PSU APEVIA and rosewill are garbage, go with a corsair or antec, you'll need about 650 watts, so go with a 750 or higher. I personally would say for you get the Corsair 850TX or 850HX if you want removable cables. If you want antec go with TPQ 850 for 150 or the TQP 1000 for 170.
