Okay, after reading this...these all sound like bad ideas.

 

One of my best friends has the same problem as you. She's about the same height as you and is really skinny...she actually needs to bulk up to get into the Air Force.

 

Some of the things she's done is eat ice cream at night. So, try eating a bowl of ice cream before you go to bed.

You could also try working out and drinking protein shakes...yes, they are for those that want to get buff and gain muscle, but I'm not saying go ape shit and get like the hulk unless that's what you really want. What kind of exercise do you do?

For example, if you're just walk around the neighborhood, I wouldn't really call that exercising. However, if you lift weights, do push ups, sit ups, tricep dips, etc. Those should help. You can start off doing 3 reps of 8 or 2 reps of 10. Then, you drink protein shakes..they have them at Walmart. I know it may seem expensive, but it's been effective for my friend. Make your shake according to the instructions and the purpose of those shakes is to help you not be as sore the next day and it turns the protein into muscles and helps you get more muscles. You also aren't going to become the hulk from drinking protein shakes. My friend does these work outs and she hasn't gained body builder status. lol.

Also, I wouldn't suggest running. Running burns calories. In your case, you don't need to burn calories. Burning calories makes you lose weight. lol. So I would stay away from running.

oh yeah, eating habits. If you start working out right and drinking protein shakes, I wouldn't suggest eating mcDonalds and buckets of mayo (disgusting) I'd eat more proteins and veggies..a healthy diet. While a healthy diet helps you lose weight...if you combine that with working out and protein shakes your focusing on gaining more muscle and filling your body to what it should be (120 pounds) instead of what it is now :]

 

What if you put the fried chicken skins and protein powder and other get buff stuff in a huge jar of mayonnaise and just eat it with a spoon. Lol jk

 

From personal experience protein powders never worked for me. I don't know about other people but It just made me sick after I drank the shake. Me I'm 5'5 and 187 pounds. I'm heavy for my height but my abdomen is bigger than most kids at my school. People tell me I'm perfect for football but I'm not a sports guy. Well later I hope you get to where you want, and good luck dizy.

Well, When I used to be skinny I wanted to put on some muscle, but instead of putting on a lot of muscle for the first time I was actually putting on weight, what I did was do this every week at the gym

Monday - Chest and Bi's - Bench pressess, Incline barbell press, Superset Incline fly and press ups, standing straight bar curl, seated incline dumb curl, hammer curls, seated concentration curls + 15 min ab's

tuesday - Back and Tri's - Wide grip pull, Dead lifts, dumb bell rows (bench), close grip extensions on a flat bench with ez bar, cable push downs, super - head tri extennsions and ips 20 min on the cross trainer

Thursday - Shoulders and Abs - 25 minute run on treadmill, standing bar press, arnold press, standing laterial dumb bell raises, shrugs and 3 mix abs exercises

Saturday - Legs - 25 min on treadmill, squats, hamstring extensions, seated quad extension, standing calf extensions.

The good thing about this work out, you can set it to what ever level you want, you don't have to sit there and be lifting 110 lb on each arm, Just do exactly what I did, NOT eat right, If you eat shit with this exercise you will put on a lot of weight, I had no clue what I was doing and I was eating shit and taking protein shakes, I was putting on weight and a lot of it, obviously some of this is muscle, but what you want to aim to do, is eat more calories than you are burning and this will work a treat, you will also have a great body on the way if you quit the bad eating habbits after you've got the weight you want ;)

Powders do work, there just not what people think they are, most people are like PROTEIN SHAKE + SMALL WORKOUT = HENCH CUNT, Wrong, you need to eat right aswell, need to get into the right habbits be doing the right excercises and feel that burn of when you're starting a day with activating your core and doing a hole exercise like this, you'll become a hench fuck after a while, you just need the commitment

lol first of all dont just start eating junk food as right as that sounds. all thats going to do is make u unhealthy from malnutrition. From what it sounds like u have a very fast metabolism and your 10 pounds under weight, witch isnt bad at all lol. What you can do is gain Unhealthy weight by eating and not exercising or u can gain healthy weight by just increasing the amount of calories u eat. Hope this helps.

Well Dizy I seen alot of good advice I don't need to leave much and sure as hell not going to post 3 to 5 time back to back. :D

 

Best advice and I am big guy use to be 340 pds now 289 and I am 6'4. I really hate to tell you Gaining wait pretty easy when you get older. No lie I use to eat a whole pizza with a gyro when I was 18 under. Now I can barely eat a burrito or 2 slices of pizza then I am full. What I am trying to tell you When you get older you will gain weight to turn that weight into muscle do some push ups with cards like banana told you. (make it fun listen to music while working out). Lift heavy objects at home to save money or push them to start if to heavy. Also you may want to eat more veggie's They help shocking as it is. Hope it helps and drinking beer will not help your a smart girl with a good guy (JJK make her food that helps :D) and I know you will find a way to gain weight. Hope you have a good night or day.

LOL?

 

But yeah, don't gorge yourself on the fatty foods. Eating small/average HEALTHY meals lets say 4-5 times a day (with working out) is better than gorging yourself at dinner. You don't wanna get fat, you want to gain muscle. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat. :D (or so I heard.)

Seriously. I'm considered overweight, because at 5'3" most people aren't 135. However, my doctor has recommended I get more body fat, as I current sit at about 6%. It's all a matter of muscle to fat ratio. If you can pass the state's P.E. standards, and still be "Underweight", I wouldn't bother.

I've never passed a single PE class in my life and the school I go to now..it's "PE" is playing board games in the cafeteria until the bell rings....
