Theres a lot of maps that would offer more opportunities to allow more fun on JB. It is not gonna happen because they came out with a new (updated) map a couple months ago. It would be cool to have a bigger, more diverse map BUT what would be cool is to have something like rtv and have multiple maps that are all different and unique in some way. Our map is one of the best ones out there, without a doubt. Just because you, DenMother, thinks its boring or needs features. Doesn't mean that it is boring. The jailbreak server is one of most popular ones out there also, which means that people actually like playing on. If you can put up with jailbreak as a server, you can't put up with the map?.. and the servers is usually 50+ people constantly during the day, I don't think the map is making any less people come. That was when it was nearly impossible to get into the server. I remember waiting up to 20 minutes to get in. But thats not the point. All of you who say this is the best map ever, what makes it better than those who offer climb, better soccer field, more interesting pools, dj station, low gravity areas, and loads of secrets thats not restricted to only admins? And people don't join because of the map they join because of the people who play and try to make it fun. *Edit* If Fpsbanana didn't turn into the shitty gamebanana I'd link you some maps. I never said the new map would cut down on the rebellers, people do that anyways especially if the lead is shitty. So that point is completely irrelevant to this discussion. Would you rather keep the same map that people do those shitty games on or actually try and get more maps to expand what lead can do? Even if its the people we have playing on ours. You also have to understand [HG] has many other servers we have to keep fun as well, make sure we deal with Hackers/Other Problems, Keep up all servers so others can play even when we restart them so there is no problems and to restart them fast enough so those playing can rejoin. Also have events to keep things spiced up as you put it. [HG] Has alot of things going on and even with the staff and others working on these problems most of there time they have to deal with others complaining about small items which they discussed in the past to fix or trying to figure ways to fix it. Just because you have a problem with leads does not mean we need a new map OR you say that we can't use Soccer/Pool I am sry we can use them In other sort of games you ever play SEA MONKEYS!!! A game I made up hoping for others to use pool more often. I will explain the game later. Or soccer U can play that with less then 10 T's. Plus we use Both for Wardays or Silly Days. Again when your asked what would you like to do today Give him your choice there are a bunch. I am sorry you do not like the Jailbreak map that much like you may have in the past Most of us don't. Ok first off, I said it would be cool to have either a new map or a rotation. I never had a problem with leads because fail leads are fail we all know this. Second, I'm mainly reffering to what the map has to offer game wise so leads don't have to end up doing last reaction/first reaction, and opinionated free kill days. I know HG JB is the top JB server becauses it's really the only clan that has it's head on its shoulders when it comes to JB. Most other clans drastically changed the rules so much they just gave up on their servers. And if you agree that most of people don't like the JB map then why are you so against the idea? mccaincracker Posted February 23, 2011 Share Posted February 23, 2011 Okay, i didn't fully read every response to this thread, but when you think about it most of the coding crosshair has done would work specifically for our map. Like for Lr's, Lr teleports, commands such as !adminroom ect.... And these wouldn't work on other maps making a rotation server to have very limited coding..
