Cookie
Like the title says; I would very much appreciate if jjk or another higherup makes some rules for how !fire should be used and what happens when you use it for another purpose.
JessicaJoy
Well, !fire can be used by anyone who thinks lead isn't doing a good job. It is a matter of opinions. I do think that if the person who is using !fire is dead, it shouldn't be valid. Until the code can be altered, you just kind of have to deal with it. RedDevil6193
But people say hey "fire this guy", they should not be telling other ts to fire.
General Red
I feel if you have your vote to !fire and u use it, then its fine. Thats like saying just cause someone says to vote for a president its illegal.

JessicaJoy
What does voting for a president have to do with jailbreak ...guess what, it doesn't. Until dL+ gives us a full ruling on this, just deal with it for now. :/ Simple.

Cookie
That's... not true. lol... !fire shitty leads. Don't !fire good leads. How difficult is this game? To ensure fairness, all states have laws to prevent individuals or groups from campaigning at or near poll booths on Election Day. Also, the jailbreak community is like a mini society. You have the citizens (ts), the law enforcment (cts) government (admins). To say voting for president is an analogy to !fire is completly wrong, it is more like a court trial, where the same rules should be put into consideration; nor race, tone of voice, gender, or feelings towards that person should be used, ect. to !fire, but their actions
Jake
Putting too much thought into a simple command. If lead is bad and the server doesn't like the way someone is leading, then they're going to get fired. It takes like 2/3 vote to fire someone, if that many people don't like the way someone is leading, then lead is doing it wrong. Yes i agree, people will say "Fire this person!" and you'll get some band wagoners firing just because. Don't encourage people to fire lead just for the hell of it. mccaincracker
Also, as i understand it they should not be encouraging others to !fire. This happens frequently and more players than you think will join in on it even if the lead is perfectly fine

Like I said earlier, with 34 ts once you get 8 legit fires it turns into HAHA LETS FIRE HIM BECAUSE ITS FUNNY and you get fired for doing nothing wrong. General Red
No, if that many people want u fired, then they dont want u leading. That part is obvious.

Its not that simple because when admins tell new players to do something they normally do it, so what starts as a simple rounds turns into a fail day because stupid players and ever stupider admins that YELL IT ON MIC TO !FIRE SOMEONE Edited January 3, 2012 by LazaHorse Removed flame. FenixNR
Maybe people fired shouldn't be sent to electric chair then. I find a lot of the fire stuff just stupid. It shouldn't be on there, it gets abuse all the time. When you have so many different people say so many different things it gets stupid. You have on DL+ that says one thing, one does another, and so on and so forth. I've seen dl+ come in and kick people for the same thing that others say they shouldn't be kicked for. Dav3Schneider
This is quite annoying in my opinion, don't get me wrong though, you can get a lot of bandwagoners by saying the most simplistic phrase and people will do it. Just like people will say, "No balls jump! No balls!" And everyone jumps. Maybe reduce the fire command to admins only, or raise the threshold for the fire rate. That might help a lot of things. 100 rep is easy to get, maybe in 10 minutes if you grind for the rep. TL;DR -Admin only for fire -Raise threshold

I just hate when people fuck around with !fire. You are telling me that you would rather have a bunch of immature Ts who abuse fire or a bunch of admins who most of the time do their job. I just got admin yesterday, and have done a good amount of what has to been done. I have yet to see any problems with admins the last couple days. Most Ts are immature when it comes to !fire, especially when everyone screams "FIRE HIM! FIREE!" I would rather have a couple admins who understand at least what to do, then those people. Cryptex
If someone tells people to fire a lead, the people have a choice or not to fire the lead, they are not being forced to fire them, that person just wants to fire them, if you dont wanna fire the lead then dont
bort
We will just make it so !fire COSTS rep. People will have more discretion when their rep decreases every time they use it.
