--------- Posted February 17, 2012 Share Posted February 17, 2012 Im pretty sure this is right: The server is always runny so it is constantly storing data from players etc. in the ram, and if it ran forever it would lag out an crash (due to the overloaded ram) and eventually get an error message on the server-side for "Physical Memory Dump Error" or "The Blue Screen of Death".
