At that point, people can jostle for playing time (like how people try to get lead); the first person chronologically to play their song gets it to stay on, muting the HLDJ of everyone else. Similar to !fire, people can vote (maybe using rep?) to stop the song, and it can be stopped after a certain number of votes. Or, it can be stopped by an admin if it sounds like a griefing clip. Then, the same process happens again. If you don't want to hear music at all during the warday, you can toggle it personally. Wont work too much abuse and annoying. People who have died should not be allowed to say off because they can turn off their sound because they are dead and don't need sound. HLDJ provides with a creative source of entertainment. Out of the people who play music, a very few percentage spam, but will stop when there is admins telling them what to do. Admins aren't being lazy, creating new rules is being efficient. If admins don't have to focus on spammers anymore, they have more time and focus on freekillers and baiters. So weighing out the pros to having a couple of restrictions and less admin abuse on those "musicians" to the cons of it. Then weighing out just staying the way we are (pros and cons) is the best way to determine if the idea of giving the music a chance to shine is better then a whiny admin telling them to shut up and muting them right away. I will NOT send a OFF order to the DJ if... -They spam OFF, say it once....saying it like 10 times in 10 seconds.... well you just got ignored by me on the 2nd time you said it. -They say OFF when music was requested by LEAD for the DAY and lead is OK with it. -Part of someones LR -Person says OFF all the time just because of WHO is playing it. I personally like music being played from time to time....but there is a TIME to do it and a TIME not to. If an admin requests that no music be played during a warday...i.e. SILENT WARDAY....derp DJ's shouldn't spam and should be muted for the round. I spam it because most admins won't see it and ignore it though they are actively typing in the chat. And that's after I've sent it once or twice to admins through teamchat @. Maybe the person also doesn't like the genre the person is playing, not just the person or they're a bad HLDJ? I personally like music being played from time to time....but there is a TIME to do it and a TIME not to. I do too but most of it's shit, it's rare to get good classic songs they aren't horrible quality. Of course there's a time to play and not to. It's mostly when people say 'off' because it's bad. When I think about the admin hating the song so he mutes the DJ yet everyone else loves it and yelps at him but then there is where everyone hates it and the admin says that they should appreciate the good music and keeps it on.
