backflips on the trampoline xD

Considering you have almost no technique with your flip, I can see why you can't do it even with the assistance of a trampoline.

Pull your legs in after the initial kick. The first kick is the only one that propels you (I can explain the physics of it but I won't). So you then pull in your legs to reduce your inertia (again not explaining the physics) so you turn faster and can make a full revolution before you land. To make an entire flip with your legs extended requires a very VERY strong kick that very few can do save martial artists and circus athletes.

If you want some sort of credibility for my suggestions, I used to teach BBoying for my high school club (though notably I am too big for most trick moves). There, my friend taught tricking and taught me the basics of flips while trying to get me to do basic handstand-esque moves. Also, the physics behind it are fairly basic.

TL;DR, tuck your legs when you flip. Extend them to land.

You're trying way too hard to make yourself flip, then losing all of the air that you gain from bouncing. you need to lean back more and bring your legs inward to your chest on your way upwards into the air. Some people will grab beneath their knees and others on top, whichever you feel is most comfortable.

here's an example of me doing a double a really long time ago

His chin gives him extra aerodynamic force by ripping through the air like a knife.

god damn Mccain, that was great! and tx for the advice, also Laza :P

oh yeah also, my trampoline is kind of small, I hit the springs everytime, that is also why I am messing up

I wouldn't try tricking on small trampolines. Either do it on regular floor or on a large trampoline. The reason why is that small trampolines do not give you enough push to do EXTREMELY difficult tricks like Cleft's Double Backflip here. They do however give you the sense of jumping higher than normal so when you try to do tricks on ground later, the transition becomes really hard.

There's also the danger of hitting the springs/edge of the mat when you fall. Hitting the ground is easier because you expect it to hurt and brace yourself for it. When you're expecting a trampoline and hit a spring, the shock is enough to really injure something if you're not careful.
