360 Wireless Controller On Cs Go?

Recommended Posts

I have been wondering HOw The hell can i connect my 360 controller with Csgo

i found the Greatest Post ever! If you want to know how to make ur 360 controller work Follow the Instructions Below

You need to do "exec controller.360.cfg" in the console and then set "joy_lowend 0.35". If that doesn't get it working, make sure "joystick 1" is set. We haven't officially shipped controller support for pc yet so there are a few quirky things about it, but this should get it working. Be warned, right now if you commit to using the controller, it'll lock out your keyboard. You have to go back to the menu to make changes. Once it's working, you can open up your config.cfg file and edit your bindings there.

meh a you can react a lot quicker with a controller than a mouse, the only thing you lose is a few binds

Their are barely any binds on CS:GO to begin with. If you really have a slow reaction I suggest getting a gaming mouse with a bunch more buttons to make it easier or just rebind keys closer to you the WASD (or arrow keys)

Incorrect!

Did you know that console games have aim assist while PC games often times don't? 'Why?', might you ask. Because controllers suck at precision and the mouse is where it's at.

But I suppose it's entirely what you're comfortable with. I can be comfortable with both but I suck without the aim assist on a controller that console provides.

Somebody correct if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure Xbox 360 wireless controllers can't connect to the PC through normal standards, not even with the charging wires (well they were only meant for charging to begin with!). Your best bet is to fork over cash for either a wired controller capable of Plug n' Play or an adapter which would cost just as much as the wired controller itself, and in some cases, even more.

Key words being "wireless" and "through normal standards."

I couldn't find a way to connect my wireless controller to my laptop unless I bought an adapter or used the crappy wireless controller I have. The PS3 one can connect I know for sure because I even use it to play SNES games on my phone, but I'm pretty sure OP wants his Xbox controller to connect.

Wireless Xbox controllers just don't connect to PC I don't think.

I can't imagine using a controller on CS though, it's just one of those games that doesn't have the proper feel to it to allow controllers.
