Title says it all, i know this isn't 'banable' persay or whatever and we trade at our own risk and all, but i'd like to see if there is anything i can do to get my 20k credits back...Or ATLEAST take away these creds from him/his items. Thankyou!

In the second photo you can tell he's 'trying' to pay me back... Where in reality he's just typing it then pressing two to deny it. I can get pics of my current creds if neccessary? (Done)

 

Sorry if i've done something wrong like posting or w.e. im a complete roockie at this stuff lol.

Not sure what the rule on scamming is, so I haven't enforced any action on horror duck #VIKINGZ (I was there and saw it happen)

 

If there is no such rule against it then this thread will serve as a warning to other traders about him.

It is basically at your own risk you can't obviously ban him for it. That is why we frown upon advertising rep for credz or any real life currency cause this happens and it just makes everything a little bit harder for the higher ups. Now him getting in trouble, maybe, you'll have to get in touch with a higher up.

I'm well aware it's trade at your own risk. But still, regardless with such obvious proof and action, why can't we punish him for it? At the very least remove the 20k Creds he took, if you won't have them returned. I'd rather this kid doesn't have them, than nothing!

 

But yeah, thanks for the response, i do agree with what you've said, but i mean is there really a reason not to punish him/remove credits/return them/ whatever :)?

If I knew jailbreak and this rep/cred system I WOULD punish him. But since I don't and would rather not fuck something up i'll post my personal opinion for a DL or another uM to take into consideration. People who scam others in real life and something as minor as video games are fucking assholes. I would very much like to see this man's rep not only be negated by the 20k but reset to a big fat fucking 0. It may be a "trade at your own risk" kind of deal but people who would abuse the system rather than being moral should be made an example of as not to deter others from trading.

Thanks for your opinion Weeman, i also agree. Although i obviously was overly trustive, i even realized it when i was doing it, but i'm just not a very judge-mental person, so i just thought he'd play along nicely. But anyway, yeah i totally agree, at the very least i want him to loose the credits, (in the light of this previous point) i'm not overly bothered about getting them back myself though....

No, ofcourse not. Oncemore i repeat myself, i'm not blaming the server, the people who run it, or anything like that, its the opposite, i envy the management here for the most part. I'm reporting an incident, and hoping that it can be resolved/fixed.

When did i ever say this put stress on myself? All im saying is, why should we just let things like this slide, when they're clearly in the wrong?
