I am quite aware something this drastic would need tons of feedback.

 

My brain is a warehouse of ideas, which i like to randomly discuss with people, instead of random changes that noone knew about.

 

So here it is, a cure for some common problems, but the gameplay would be more hardcore

Red Zone - FFA, shooting anyone is allowed. at anytime.

 

Cops may still respond to raid and traffic calls like normal.

 

10 drugs may be grown out here

 

Shrooms may be planted wild and defended out here

 

NLR does not apply in the Red Zone, feel free to return to your house.

 

 

 

 

Blue Zone - ANY shooting, applies an automatic warrant. (Unless you shoot inside your

 

own property)

 

5 drugs can be grown in here

 

The Mayor/Police Cheif can add Blue Zone restricted weapons which will automatically

 

warrants users that hold the restricted gun type.

 

You can still rob a bank, or lockpick in Tides ...if youre good enough.

 

 

 

 

Pros:

 

90% of RDM and Perp ban reports and NLR spam - ELIMINATED

 

Newbies have a safe place to grow and learn the game, but restricted growing.

 

Large Player Orgs can have a FFA safe haven in the wild, without being overpowered

 

too much in town. (no more pickign on newbies)

 

 

This new feature would attract players to live in the red zone and hopefully empty some cars that sit around

 

safe shops

 

in town causing traffic congestion.

 

 

Cons:

 

Tow Truck would be a more difficult job.

 

People will bitch about how this isnt RP.

 

So check this out:

Is parkouring on to a roof with a shotgun guarding your door RP?

FUCK NO

 

Can a city enforce emergency laws and have quarantine zones?

Fuck ya, they do all the time. So eat my dick.

 

 

Players might find it difficult to go to car dealer (May need a ride or police

 

escourt)

 

Bored players wont be able to drive in circles so much.

 

Respawn times might need to be modified?

I think it'll do the opposite which will be having one gang control the door (it'll come down to this eventually) and shooting anyone that crossed the parallel. So it'll be like having 55 people in the main city and 15 at the tunnel. Would be fun for whoever was the in the org controlling it, but not fun for everyone else.

There could be multiple entrances to lower the "toll gate" effect.

 

Also, move the car dealership into the main city.

For this idea to work, I think there would either have to be major changes to the layout of the map, or you would have to move the blue border to the area with the small warehouse. If those prerequisites are met, then I think this system would definitely be more friendly towards other players, in fact, I think it would make even me play PERP much more often.

if thats the case, then extend blue zone into the 4 way tunnel split

 

 

1 gang will have problems controlling 4 tunnels

 

You would then only have to control the road to hospital and road to country, and leave industrial alone then. Would require about 8 people total to do this.

Make it so it's not immediately the "red zone" right after the tunnels end. I don't know what would be a reasonable distance.

then i would have everyone sit at the overpass by the hospital and the end of the tunnel by subs gas station

cops are barely able to do anything as it is, now they are able to be shot on site in the red zone before any real altercation.

Sounds like a solid plan and would make the game better for people who are not in big gangs. Seems like most people agree, but the big gangs wont like this because it makes it harder for them to raid.

I don't know, I think it would be the other way around and be fun on the people controlling the borders and not fun for the new players. There are 4(?) tides and like 6(?)appartments izzies and the warehouse to buy in the greenzone then once that's bought you cannot grow at all if you are new.

Who ever mentioned greenzone?

 

 

If orgs are goign to spam all the blue zone houses, then just put restrictions on them
