xWolfpack
Valve officially ran out of ideas and is using brute force against rank boosting. Now think about this: - Banwave triggers - You are high ranked - in each round atleast one cheater who gets VAC (well, this is the extreme way, but hard enough if it happens every 2-3 matches) - ??? Valve just went full retarded if it works like that // I have overseen the "partied" part... still a weird update Edited June 5, 2014 by omgWolf Quote Link to comment
DeRedPanda
*starts clapping slowly with much sarcasm* Bravo Valve, you've done it again. Quote Link to comment
KarmaOfPain
I actually like this. 1 Quote Link to comment
RageQuit
Realistically, this update should be viable. Boosters get denied their boost, people who knowingly keep hackers on their team don't get rewarded, and people who have to deal with hackers on the other team aren't penalized. Seems fair on a basic level. Edited June 5, 2014 by RageQuit Quote Link to comment
Manchu_OPFOR
Just brilliant! Edited June 5, 2014 by Manchu_OPFOR Quote Link to comment
DeathShot
Cheaters get fucked. People who paid to get boosted/queued up with the cheaters get fucked. The people who lose to the cheaters don't get that loss counted. Am I thinking about this too logically or..? Quote Link to comment
->SK<-
The only people who think this is retarded are those who get boosted. This is hands down the best update. Myessssssss Quote Link to comment
Inc
this is almost enough to inspire me to play MM again since im currently dmg which is basically the ceiling for shit cheaters to be in 1 Quote Link to comment
mccaincracker
This might get rid of some of the blatant cheaters sure. But now all it takes is someone who can even kindasorta hide their cheats. Overwatch demos are at like 16 tick and blow mega donkey balls. All it takes is a quick toggle every couple rounds and overwatchers won't know the difference. Plus if someone isn't completely sketchy then they may be able to play several games before even being reported. Might cutback on some boosting, but will really only make some boosters even harder to catch. 1 Quote Link to comment
Guest The_Monkey
Looks like you fucks that kept teaming up with hackers can't boost anymore. LOL! 4 Quote Link to comment
xWolfpack
You misunderstand what I ment. Boosting doesn't get denied, they simply switch to legit boosting without getting VAC'd/Overwatched. And if a banwave (including timeban) gets shot off it hits the clean players harder than the cheaters... Quote Link to comment

Most of the guys who play comp don't pug for teammates. So as long as you know who you are playing with, you have nothing to fear. As far as the togglers, they may have been doing it already. Fact is, with every increase in scrutiny, someone will find a way to bypass it eventually. Nothing is truly foolproof. Valve will simply find ways of making the system better over time, just like this release. So get over yourself, and play your goddamned game. Atleast you don't have to play with a million and a half hackers in COD like we do. Quote Link to comment
