As you may recall from Homer's original thread, this vote was going to be limited to Staff+ only. Over time we decided that we wanted to see the feedback from the community and that has evolved in to the importance of not only seeing the feedback from the community but acting upon that feedback. Each year in August, during HG's annivesary, we will hold these elections; it was quite exciting this year, more than I anticipated. Those elected here today greatly deserve their new ranks into the Leadership Council and I believe they will do great things representing the community. Runners-up are encouraged to speak with electees about showing interest as an Associate Role or Assistant Role. Each electee is required to appoint 1-2 eligible members along their side (a signoff by Chief of Staff is required). Promptly we will have a Leadership Council meeting with the new Board where they will receive more information and guidence. Thank you to everyone that participated in this year's election. Every vote counts.
