The server issues aren't the problem, it's how I am treated in there for my taste in entertainment. Granted, some of it I deserve for some of the links I shared in TS but I have kept that at bay and I am making a general change for the better but constantly being hassled by a few people in TS is making me feel less than welcome there. HG is huge, so keep meeting more people and find a niche that actually likes/accepts you. It also is not a bad way to get known and get a member app(I was once a member) 2. Find a leader or council. The rules state that you shouldn't disrespect other HG members. Princess Celestia Posted April 13, 2012 Author Share Posted April 13, 2012 I am on early in the morning CST, around 7 AM and I am very cool with Darkwing Duck, who has helped me in the past at least once with Stalker ( aka as Soul and many names too numerous to list here), giving me a hard time above and beyond good natured ribbing, basically yelling out "Anti-bronies unite and trying to turn a whole channel against me. The first are very isolated people who talk regularly with a group of no more than 10 or so people regularly. If you're having trouble with people because of your whole MLP whatever, consider going that route. The other type is the very open and "cards on the table" type where everyone knows what they're about. It leads to knowing/meeting a LOT of different members but also leads to polarizing opinions (lovers and haters). I'm in the 2nd group myself. I'd say that type of person requires relatively thick skin to deal with the kind of hate he can end up drawing. It sounds to me that you'd be best off finding a small group of people to game/converse with. There's plenty of bronies in HG (at one point I actually started watching the show because Blu forced me to ) so it shouldn't be hard to find friends. Good luck. Being supportive of furries has also put a second target for hate in my back. I can tolerate a lot of abuse but everyone has a limit for taking bullshit. I had a song linked that wasn't MLP affiliated with the exception of the artists logo which was replaced with a fat guy in a speedo standing next to a horse outside in the paddock. By that I maen, "Then I realized some people are just pricks and you need to pick and choose who you are sharing things with." There are things that if you are interested in you can share with people and not expect/deserve maltreatment. However these are "common" interests. When you start venturing off into sexual/grotesque/fetish/other not "politically correct" subjects, you are crossing the common courtesy that we as fellows of a community deserve. Long story short, if you're only being yourself and sharing "common" things with people, you should be fine. If you're showing people things that are more extreme that they may be put off by, you are asking for and deserve any backlash you get. You don't see me showing people Korean pornography in teamspeak.
