I didnt see what was the lr but after that round was over a t and a ct had beacon on them the whole new round, well until that new round's lr.

 

I have more details regarding the error. It happened to me twice last night, once as a ct once as a t. When I was a ct I was challenged to a dodgeball lr with 1 or less seconds in the round, both me and the t were beaconed till the next round. The second time, I was a t, I challenged a ct to starwars lr with no time on the clock, the next round we were beaconed... More importantly though, I started the proceeding round with the autoshotty, hopefully this can be addressed before it gets exploited.

Great gob with the update!

 

I believe this might be a bug: It went into LR mode even though we were in a warday. I thought warday itself was an "end-game" status, which ends in S&D?

 

Naw Warday ends in either LR or Last CT like other regular games.

1. The main bug with LR is just becoming a rebel in a game because the CT doesn't follow the rules

1a. The CT throws first in a gun toss, so you kill him, you become red.

2a. Frag Wars, if both people jump off, you can easily throw a frag at a different CT, and you become red.

1c. Custom LR, other CT's purposly jumping infront of the T to make him red.

 

Some of these can not be helped becuse thats just players being dicks, but a suggestion for the frag wars would be a more contained area they can't get out of, and for the gun toss, make it so the CT doesn't have a gun untill the t throws.

Para starwars doesn't work. All my weapons get stripped if I do it.

 

While it's true that weapons get stripped... the LR is then counted down, and after 3 seconds you get the weapon. I couldn't confirm anyone not getting weaposn

Wut? The script won't let a CT drop their deagle/whatever gun it is, unless the T has already thrown. Now, if you've seen a CT able to drop their gun before a T that's news to me 'cause I havne't been able to replicate it no matter what.

I'll change the rules of the LR. If someone jumps off the building and throws a grenade they're automatically slayed.

At this point, I see no issue with this. Ts do it to CTs all the time when there is no lead, think of it as pay back.

I said this once, not sure if you heard me but it also goes both ways. Last time I was in main area and some T decided to star wars me. He came from garage and I started shooting him from big cage, but unfortunately another T was doing a guntoss and jumped in the way, thus ending his life. I know it is his fault but I still feel bad about it..

Well, if anything technically it would have been your fault. Just because it is LR, doesn't make the rules of jailbreak any different in regards to killing peole you shouldn't be.

 

If you were not in LR, and you were attacking a rebel that was running right through you, but you say accidently shot someone walking from big cage to cell stairs (not rebellign) it will still be a freeshot/freekill even though he "jumped in the way". The bottom line is that because both Ts and CTs have a chance for accidently interfering/being interfered upon, in an lr, there is no reason for me to exhaust my resources and make insignificant, and uneccesary changes.

1. Star Wars Auto Shotty has resulted in neither participant having their weapon. I had this happen to myself a few days ago and saw it happen with ASCII last night.

 

2. Frag Wars has left my arms and weapon disappear before. While I still have my knife I can't actually see it or anything other weapon. This carries through into the next round and until I reconnect. This has only happened once.

Looking at the code, the only thing I can think of for the star wars bug is if during that countdown period, someone gives you a gun. Other than that I can't think of anygthing that caused that.

 

As for the frag wars, again, I can't think of anything that would cause that. Hopefully there'll be something in the error logs that comes up, but I haven't seen anything yet.

 

If you have more information regarding the bugs, other than "it doens't work" please fill me in, as even something like "oh, right after the LR started I picked up a gun" could help.

On the second tier fountain jump it seems like the t always get the win even when the ct seems to make it first.

 

Not really, but it could seem that way.

 

Every 0.03 seconds, it checks for a winner, and it checks if the T is a winner before the CT.

 

So the chances of the t winning first unfarely... very slim. Oh well, changed the timer check to 0.01 seconds rather than 0.03, and gave the advantage to a random person.
