Believe me, I get the whole "Respect all players" thing; however it's hard to argue that admins aren't just using that as an excuse to mute people they don't like. If you're too lazy to watch the video, basically I got gagged and kicked for saying that the admins abuse their power because it's "disrespecting players" he didn't even kick me for disrespect, he kicked me because I challenged his authority. Now I'm not trying to appeal if this against this specific admin, but really, there's a difference between disrespect, stating your honest opinion, and having fun. Hell I got gagged about a week or so ago for calling GI-JOSE a fa**** because "Disrespect". And when I called YAK out to a rap battle saying I'd make him my bitch, I got gagged for it. I got gagged for stating that obs days are for bad leads whom can't control the Ts. Again, disrespect and harassment should result in a gag. But this is just plain ridiculous. There needs to be a clear definition of "disrespect". You can respect someone and call them a fa****. Alternatively, if it is an admin acting out of line without using admin powers, report them with screenshot and/or demo proof. No! Posted May 8, 2014 Share Posted May 8, 2014 I have seen this happen more and more... Even though when other admin do it to me or players I just let it go. Thinking about taking a stand soon on the respecting all players in server rules. Just because a person is a admin doesn't give them the right. Admins are really starting to abuse the "no disrespect" rule, and using it more like a "Stop disagreeing with me, or I'll ban you for disrespect" sort of thing. I don't care about getting a specific admin in trouble, I don't want that. I want this problem to stop. It's making HG really not fun to be around when you're afraid of saying ANYTHING and getting a ban. The racism rule I still disagree with, but I can understand it. But this is just plain ridiculous.
