Maps To Add To Rotation

It reminds me when I did zs_obj_the_bridge, I thought the map was perfect without any problem but I have not learned the bases of hammer, I may be discouraged you, but I'll help you on some things

I you're sending a private message to explain every problem because this map is not playable

No in fact it was just what I needed, I Uploaded the map because I needed to field test it to see if everything worked.

I already talked with Trazix and after fixing some shit Im realeasing the new fixed update which reduced about 85% of the map size, it is comming probably tonight, so expect either an updated version of zs_obj_exulansis_v6 or v7 comming in the night.

Our version is different from the official version. This map needs to be fixed and changed name; well texture is still fucked up. Good map needs to be fixed

 

Zs_farmhouse_v4

IMI4tth3w - small map but an original to zs. Good to be added.

 

Zs_krusty_krab_v4

IMI4tth3w - great old map. Could possibly be added to come up on rotation less like objective maps do.

 

Zs_lighthouse_v1

IMI4tth3w - another classic map. Should be added to rotation. Might be a few OP skycading spots that need to be looked at if/when it goes live. A bit zombie sided, has roller mines that might need to be removed

Marche - Needs fair balance from zombie side, Humans can actually win this map by 70/30 with skycades only. 6/10.

 

 

Zs_mojave_b1

IMI4tth3w - 1, maybe 2 places to cade. Large with few props and little going on. Zombie sided for sure.

Marche - Even from far range, humans can actually snipe the spawn with rifles if the dusty environment is removed. Keep the environment. Zombie Sided especially with headcrabs.

 

 

Zs_nowhere

IMI4tth3w - elevator that can be broken and abused…. Removed elevator and it will be okay; sliding glass door at gas station needs to be removed as it can be abused

Marche - Let a human stay at the closing door of an elevator and it can be exploited so easily.

 

Zs_obj_dump_v10

IMI4tth3w - removed due to trolling with key at beggining. Needs to be changed to a switch; even still it is frequently votemapped on live with few issues.

 

Zs_obj_lambdacorev16

IMI4tth3w - some possible bugs but would be a good obj map. Should be okay to have on live. Also there was noted that lots of lag on the tram.

 

Zs_obj_minecave

IMI4tth3w - REALLY long map. Some issues with elevator. Everyone phased through. Will need to be tested again. Too buggy for live IMO

 

Zs_pathogen

IMI4tth3w - latest gmod has no more issues with this map. Doors are visible. Map is fixed and good to go

 

Zs_vector

IMI4tth3w - map made by same person as pathogen; overwhelmingly yes for this map

 

 

Zs_scrapmetal_v2_fixed

IMI4tth3w - needs to be added to debug and fast dl.. Rip

 

Zs_splinter_v2

IMI4tth3w - needs to be added to fastdl

 

Zs_stormier_v1

IMI4tth3w - just another version of zs_storm. Its okay i guess. If we are looking for quantity it will be okay for server.

 

Zs_urban_strain

IMI4tth3w - human OP and very easy to troll zombie spawn. No until these issues are fixed.

I honestly hope these maps gets added to the rotation, because the majority of people only votes for the same maps that are on the rotation right now and almost every day on. If these maps gets added, it would make a big difference and deal, as i personally like maps that have or are never played. (This is my personal opinion only however, as I only think it's for the better good :))

In case you are looking for other maps Forrest, i have a collection of my own on the Steam (Garry's Mod) workshop that has alot of ZS maps, which i took my time to add the collection. Feel free to check it out if you want, however some maps may be outdated and old, since the owners hasn't seemed to update them in a while.

In case you are looking for other maps Forrest, i have a collection of my own on the Steam (Garry's Mod) workshop that has alot of ZS maps, which i took my time to add the collection. Feel free to check it out if you want, however some maps may be outdated and old, since the owners hasn't seemed to update them in a while.

Oh, I didn't know you were the one responsible for the testing, adding, etc. Thought it was Forrest or Skay that handled it, but now i know :)

 

skay and dreamy are the ones who can upload maps to the server, but i like to try and make it easy for them and take care of the dirty work as well as keep yall updated in threads like the maps on the server thread.

forrest handles updates to the zs server such as new zombies, new guns, and some map fixes, among many other things.

 

those guys have their plates full and i just try and do what i can to keep the map cycle fresh. unfortunately my school schedule this past semester has kept me insanely busy until now that the semester is over.

 

i'm hoping to make up for it by getting a really nice selection of maps added to the server

Love all the new maps being added except zs_obj_minecave

 

It was only tested, and it has several issues that will keep it off of the live server. Don't you worry that pretty little head of yours.

 

 

 

So has the new maps been added yet or are they still being tested and yet to be added?

 

Did about 10 hours of map testing this weekend but there are still about 15 more left to test. as of now there are 19 approved maps, but a couple of them may not last depending on how they work out with the server population.

 

its fewer than i was hoping to approve, so i'll also try working on some edits for the disapproved maps to get more in the server. however, map edits are not as easy as everyone thinks.
