I'm creating this thread for players to vote on and show different maps that can be added to the ZS server. I hope this will atleast catch Dreamys attention

Don't forget to check out the Official Map Suggestion page. We have tested and gone through every single suggested map there.

 

However, there are definitely some old maps that are worth revisiting to check for potential to add to the server rotation, as you have noted forrest and i appreciate the very well laid out format of your suggestions! And of course the new maps you've have suggested as well.

 

I'll see if we can get some testing done this weekend, possibly Sunday, and we'll try and fix up the stale rotation.

 

Also the Maps on the Server thread is a good place to see what maps have been removed from rotation that could be retested to see if they would be good to bring back (while some of these may not be the best maps, since they've been gone for a while it will bring some refresh to the rotation). Albeit, that thread hasn't been updated in a while and may be a bit out of date.

Feel like at least the maps with close to nothing but flammable props should be removed or revised.. say like zs_nestlings_v3 ya know

its works for me and Trazix too.

yeah but my computer is kinda weird because for previous maps I used mp3 and it worked perfectly but for this one compiling was one cluster storm of a mess, also Im gonna do an update for all of my maps pretty soon where I fix all the shit I can. Incluiding texture, cubemaps, etc. However to gameplay related bugs I need HG to test the map in order to see if there are any errors at all. Edited by EngineTrap

I think you have come to the dilemna of why no one will ever have your map on a server.

Vertigo is aprox 177 mb and it has been on the server for years, so I dont think so.

and Rescape is 136 mb so I dont see a problem, even with that Im gonna try my best to reduce the map size as much as I can

It reminds me when I did zs_obj_the_bridge, I thought the map was perfect without any problem but I have not learned the bases of hammer, I may be discouraged you, but I'll help you on some things

I you're sending a private message to explain every problem because this map is not playable
