They would gain nothing from it, and there would not be significant impact compared to if they hacked a major gaming industry, like Treyarch, Naughty Dog, or heck, even Valve itself. The thing about hackers is that there always has to be a reason why these people perform such illegal action. Someone doesn't just hack a server or community just for "meh;" there is always an underlying reason behind it.
