XFINITY BLAST Posted July 31, 2017 Share Posted July 31, 2017 Honestly, I don't see why these maps are in the server. They last way too long, and they lag out the server. I cant think of any more reasons why they're dumb, but I'm sure there are hundreds of reasons. Master ToF Posted July 31, 2017 Share Posted July 31, 2017 The ze maps are a way of having a game mode a little different because you have to constantly move around while paying attention to your back as the zombies run after you. In fact it's the reverse concept of a classic zs map where you're normally in a gig. There you move constantly by carrying out small challenges. We play there from time to time, that is reasonable. Realistically, you should do like the rest of humanity when you need a "break", and go do something else for a bit, maybe even join another server. ZE is trash on Gmod, always has been. ZE today has sort of a cult following on ZS because most of us played ZE/ZM on CS:S years before ZS even was a thought. That doesn't make ZE good to play on Gmod on a ZS server. I guess its fun if you like to hold w for an hour, stopping ever so often to use a materia, or briefly hold an objective for 10 seconds. The zombie team isn't even of any use on HG ZE maps, other than to make sure the humans are advancing. Basically, HG ZE on ZS is humans versus the map, not humans versus the zombies, which basically defeats the purpose of ZS. That being said, if SO many of you have a hard on about ZE, why not use some of the communities sheckles to actually make a reputable ZE server instead of fuckin up the game for the rest of the people that actually joined a ZS server? Agreeing here with smitty, we play ZE 6 times a day with sometimes 5 or more replays. I just go spectate if its ZE because I know its gonna be boring.
