I was discussing with a friend about tomato soup and he informed me that he makes it with milk. When I proceeded to inform him that was nasty as fuck, he argued that was the best way to make it. Help us find out which way is most common.

when he said he makes it WITH milk, u sure he didnt just mean he makes tomatosoup and adds milk?

cause thats how u make normal tomatosoup creamy

 

wouldnt surprise me if americans make soup with milk as a base though, they eat macncheese out of a box,u can expect anything from these culinairy barbarics

  • 1 medium red onion
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • Two 14 ounce cans diced tomatoes
  • One 46-ounce bottle or can tomato juice
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • black peppercorns
  • 1/2 cup sherry
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/3 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley

No water here.
