Chains Posted November 25, 2017 Share Posted November 25, 2017 Generally on anything other than a hard surface, a bed, carpet, etc there is static electricity risks, obviously the fabric holds in heat, and no enough air can get through. JJK Posted November 25, 2017 Share Posted November 25, 2017 My old laptop had a known problem about overheating which caused the processor (or something) to raise out of its slot, and the solution was pressing firmly on the keyboard to re-seat it. it was the craziest thing. ValueSensei Posted November 26, 2017 Share Posted November 26, 2017 Get a laptop cooling pad. Find one that fits your specific laptop, and has a minimum of 2 cooling fans.
